ABOUT BARBERTON MANOR GUEST HOUSEThe two story, spacious house, with pressed ceilings, is situated in a beautiful old garden of ± 2 hectares, close to downtown Barberton and near the road to Swaziland (40 km), 60 km from the Kruger Park and 45 km from Nelspruit (KMI Airport). Apart from being home to some of the oldest rocks and first life forms on the planet, Barberton has a rich cultural background with gold pioneering history and Swazi pastoralists playing a major part. The richest gold discoveries ever have been made at places like Eureka City and the Golden Quarry. The Victorian heritage is omnipresent in the town with several architectural examples of the lifestyle of the 19th century open to the public. Adventurers are equally catered for with 4x4 trails, hiking trails, day tours, microlight flying, hot air ballooning and scenic drives to mention but a few. |

DIRECTIONS: From Nelspruit: • Take the R40 to Barberton\Swaziland (± 40 km) • Pass the sign ‘Barberton’ and go straight ahead, direction Swaziland and ‘MediClinic’ • At the next stop/crossing turn right - this is Sheba Road * From Gauteng: • Take the N4 to Nelspruit; 100 meters past Milly’s Tankstop, take off-ramp right, to Machadodorp • Through Machadodorp, to Badplaas • At T-junction, turn left: R 38 to Barberton (± 68 km) • At the crossing with the R40, turn right, to Barberton • Pass the sign ‘Barberton’ and go straight ahead, direction Swaziland and ‘MediClinic’ • At the next stop/crossing turn right - this is Sheba Road * From Kaapmuiden / Malelane: • Take the R38 to Barberton (± 55 km) • At the 4-way stop/crossing with the R40 (to the right is Nelspruit – to the left is Swaziland). Go straight ahead - this is Sheba Road * * After 1.500 m, (you will pass the High School), Barberton Manor Guest House is at your left.
