Fairmont Zimbali Lodge is one of Southern Africa's most exclusive hideaways, set within the serene confines of a coastal forest reserve on the north coast of KwaZulu Natal - a natural sub-tropical paradise and home to mischievous dolphins and a myriad of sea and bird life. The hotel overlooks the incredible Indian Ocean and is surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful indigenous gardens.

Situated in a protected nature reserve a short 30 minute drive from Durban in KwaZulu Natal, this five star boutique hotel offers luxury accommodation and is decorated to complement the natural surrounding forest with the classical architecture accentuated by warm wood and russet autumn tones.

Guests are welcomed "Zimbali style", where luggage is transferred to the rooms on a golf cart and vehicles are parked by a valet. Classical African architecture welcomes guests to an environment of warm tones throughout the lodge.

Accommodation


Fairmont Zimbali Lodge is a 5-Star boutique hotel offering luxury accommodation, and is decorated to complement the natural surrounding forest. The classical architecture is accentuated by warm wood and russet autumn tones. The bathrooms are luxurious and feature Victorian baths from the turn of the century. Each room has a mini bar which is well stocked with a selection of beverages, light snacks. Butlers are on hand to attend to the guest's every need including room service and a very select ensemble of delicious snacks and light meals grace the room service menu.

The Fairmont Zimbali Lodge has a total of 76 rooms situated in individual lodges (2 lodges of 8 rooms and 6 lodges of 10 rooms), located away from the main Lodge and set in magnificent subtropical gardens.
