Yengele Paradise sits quietly overlooking the Trafalgar Marine Reserve, with its 90 million year old fossil beds and the mighty vegetation of the Yengele Forest, guests can enjoy inspired vantages and convenient access to the truly awesome spaces that surround it.

The lodge marks the start of the Pondoland biome and its diverse plant species, making it a perfect link through the Wild Coast. All this, with Margate and Port Edward and their individual services and attractions a mere 10 minutes away. This boutique retreat is marked by quiet pleasures and private moments allowing for genuine luxury beach lodge living that is both exceedingly comfortable and surprisingly contemporary.

Accommodation


Guests have a choice of three rooms to choose from. Each room has its own character and attractions while pure comfort is ensured.

Room One
A wonderful seaview from the extra length double bed. Percale sheets. Towels provided. Bathroom en-suite with shower. Overhead ceiling fans and a sitting area. Sliding doors open up onto your own deck overlooking the forest and sea. A sunny, private and protected courtyard accessed through sliding doors. Separate entrance.

Room Two
Watch the whales and ships from your bed. Extra length king size bed. Percale sheets. Towels provided. Bathroom en-suite with shower. Overhead ceiling fan. Opens out onto the deck overlooking the garden, forest and ocean. Accessed from the living area.

Room Three
Two extra length twin beds and spacious en-suite bathroom with shower and bath. Overhead fan. Private courtyard for relaxing in the afternoon sun. Accessed from the living area.

Breakfast and Dining


Guests have the option of Bed and Breakfast or self-catering using the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is for the exclusive use of guests and is serviced throughout the day making it ideal for guests to prepare lunches and dinners for themselves. Guests may also help themselves to the variety of teas and fresh ground coffee available.

The dining and living areas are open plan and flow from the deck allowing Alfresco dining while watching the whales, browsing bush buck, duiker and other abundant wildlife. In addition special dietary requirements are catered for with vegan meals being a speciality.

DIRECTIONS:

From Durban
Take N2 south. Halfway between Margate and Port Edward take Trafalgar exit. Continue about 2 km to 2nd stop sign, turn right into Cunningham Ave. After 200m at T-junction turn right into Effingham Parade. No. 68 is at the end of the cul-de-sac.
