Woodridge Country Hotel is set in the heart of the KwaZulu Natal Midlands, South Africa. Woodridge Country Hotel is a 4 star country style retreat for the nature lover who desires good food, fine wines and a chance to rejuvenate their body, mind and soul.

Accommodation


Woodridge offers 15 luxury rooms with 5 family cottages and 10 luxury suites including a honeymoon suite. They also have access to 10 houses owned by private investors. It is important to note that each four star room is accessed separately and the central living areas are not rented out.

All rooms and family cottages are equipped with heaters, hairdryers, TV’s, electric blankets, herbal bath and body products from our on-site Soap Shop as well as tea / coffee making facilities with home-made biscuits. The luxury suites at Woodridge look out over swimming pools into the Woodridge Nature Reserve and down the Balgowan Valley and the garden cottages and rooms overlook into the Balgowan Valley.

Dining


Woodridge prides itself on its award winning reputation for its excellent modern country cuisine and service quality. Isibaya A La Carte Restaurant - Isibaya the Zulu name for Kraal, Boma or Byre. The menu inspired by the riches of the African continent. Indlovu Grill House Restaurant - Indlovu the Zulu name for African Elephant.

The food speciality of this modern informal restaurant is grilled African Venison, Beef and Poultry. Both restaurants are supported by a superb broad selection of Southern African wines. The Boma currently in the course of final construction will be an experience to truly outdoor African eating extravagance within the Nature Reserve.

Weddings


Woodridge is the premier Natal Midlands country wedding venue specialising in plated food and superior service for up 120 people in the Isibaya restaurant. All dietary requirements are catered for on request. The Woodridge Chapel is a beautiful glass and thatch building with breathtaking views of the Balgowan Valley. The chapel can seat up to 120 people and can be used for christenings, renewing your vows, functions and launches.

Conferences


The Conference Centre is fully air conditioned to accommodate the hot and cold days and delegates are able to download their emails and the internet via the Wireless Network Connection available from the rooms, restaurant and Conference Centre. There is also excellent cell phone coverage in our unique surroundings. The Conference Packages are specifically tailored to meet the needs of the client. Package options can include a host of activities including hot air ballooning, golf with professionals, fly fishing, but to name a few.

Activities


Woodridge offers a wide array of exciting on site activities from horse riding, hiking trails, fishing, soap and herbal crafting courses, heated Jacuzzi, Spa treatments, viewing indigenous game, birds and visit their Nguni cattle.
