DIRECTIONS:
From Johannesburg
Sodwana is 700km from Johannesburg but it will take 8 hours. If you are on the West Rand, the Springs highway will be your best bet. The motorway ends at Leandra and you will turn left, then right at the second stop street. Go straight through town and continue on to Kinross, Trichardt, Bethal then Ermelo. Look out for potholes before and after Ermelo. The next town is Piet Retief, you will now be on the N2 through Pongola to Hluhluwe. Go past the Jozini and Mkuze turnoffs and take the Hluhluwe off ramp.
From Hluhluwe
Go past the Mkuze turnoff 67km and take the Hluhluwe turnoff 80km. Go through Hluhluwe, and at the huge circle (4th I think) turn left to Mbazwana/Sodwana. After 1.5 km you will see a signpost (100km) to Sodwana, turn right over the railway line. When you get to Mbazwana go straight over two traffic circles then take the next turn to the right at the garage and Spar. At the next T junction about 50m down the road turn right again. Go straight over the next traffic circle and after 3km look out for the "Sea Escapes" and "Toad Tree Cabins" signs on the left, just before the plantation. At the sign turn left onto a dirt road for about 1.5km (stick to the right hand dirt track) and you will reach the cabins which are signposted on your left.
