The Hluhluwe - Umfolozi Park, known for it's Big 5, is right on your doorstep as well as a wide variety of activities and interesting sites to visit. AccommodationThornwood offers luxury accommodation for up to 8 people in a self-catering, fully serviced, upmarket lodge. A unique blend of luxury timber frame units, blend seamlessly into the surrounding bush, and superior comfort, second only to the natural beauty Mother Nature has to offer. The main unit consists of a spacious lounge and entertainment area with a decked pool, DSTV, pool table and a study nook. Thornwood has a large well-fitted kitchen with all modern day conveniences. The kitchen leads out onto a large fire pit deck, which is perfect for evening braais and fireside chats, canopied by spectacular night skies unique to Africa. Also included in the main unit are 2 full en-suite bedrooms that have outdoor showers and bathtubs that open out to the African bush. Another 2 separate bedroom units offer privacy and seclusion positioned under magnificent indigenous trees and are both linked to the main unit by short walkways. Weavers Nature ParkWeavers Nature Park itself offers self-guided walking trails with an abundance of bird-life and game such as Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala, Wildebeest and Impala. The park is enclosed by an electrified double game fence, offering security to both wildlife and residents. Turn right onto the new Sodwana Bay road (N22), cross the railway line and travel 16km further until you reach Weavers Nature Park on your left.
