DESCRIPTION:

Lynberrys is situated in Shakas Rock, a small coastal village on the Dolphin Coast in Kwazulu Natal. A quick 40 minute drive on the N2 from Durban International Airport will have you safely nestled in our relaxing and homely guest house.

The frequent sighting of bottlenose dolphins playing in the warm Indian Ocean’s waves gives the area its magical name "The Dolphin Coast". The Dolphin Coast has a little something for everyone, the adventurous, the shop-a-holic, the nature buff, the family or anyone just looking to relax. Once you are settled in at Lynberrys, you can take a walk along the beach which is a mere 350mts from your room.

Accomodation


Special care has been taken to ensure you are comfortable and all your needs are catered for. We are four star graded by Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and all our three beautiful bedrooms have large en-suite bathrooms with bath and showers.

Symphony:
Symphony is our extra large room with a queen size bed and a double sleeper couch. The room in fitted with an air conditioner, LCD TV with DSTV hospitality tray and toiletries. We have included the Disney channel for holiday makers traveling with children. Symphony is suitable for couples or families looking to have a relaxing enjoyable holiday experience.

Shallot's:
Shallot’s beautifully sunny atmosphere shines through the doors from your own private courtyard onto the queen size bed. It ensures that the peace and relaxation you deserve is served with the comforts of a home. Shallot is fitted with an air conditioner, LCD TV, DSTV stocked hospitality tray and toiletries. Overlook a space of flowers and the silent isle embowers The Lady of Shallot.

Gemini:
Gemini is a twin bedroom suitable for the traveler who prefers their own space either with a partner or friend. The room is tastefully furnished complete with a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a large shower and bath, fitted with an air conditioner, LCD TV, DSTV stocked hospitality tray and toiletries.

Facilities


Breakfast is served between 7 and 9 o’clock in our exquisite and inviting dining room. A feast of continental and full English breakfast is always served. Special diets should be arranged when booking.

Our comfortable couches with reading material are situated outside the bedrooms. An outside braai (barbecue) is available as is a stocked honesty bar. The guest house is on the main coast road a short distance from the main highway.

DIRECTIONS:

From the N2 take the Shakas Rock 212 off-ramp.
If coming from the South (Durban), pass the Ballito off-ramp then take the 212 off-ramp and turn right over the bridge into Shakas Rock Road.
If coming from the North, pass the Salt Rock off-ramp, then take the Shakas Rock 212 off-ramp keeping left. Turn left into Shakas Rock Road.
Travel 3km to a stop sign facing the sea, at a T junction turn right into Ocean Drive. Travel 300 metres at the top of the hill is a stop street cross stop street second house on the right is Lynberrys turn into the driveway. Parking is off road inside the property.
