Overlooking the Indian Ocean, halfway between Durban and the airport, 2 minutes from a quiet beach, Lesley's Bed & Breakfast combines friendly personal service with Swiss efficiency and cleanliness. AccommodationLesley's offers three apartments all of which have their own separate entrances, and are spacious, individually furnished, and may be let as Bed & Breakfast or serviced self catering. There is also a double room which has a fridge, kettle and toaster but no cooking facilities. Executive Suite: Tastefully decorated with marine antiques, this 55 square metre first floor apartment has a bedroom with 2 single beds (which can be transformed into a king size bed) an en-suite shower etc, a separate lounge (with sleeper couch) split level air-conditioning, an open plan kitchen and a balcony with sea view. Family Apartment: This apartment is basically half a house and has two bedrooms, the main bedroom has a queen size bed and air-conditioning, and the second one has 2 single beds) each bedroom has an en-suite toilet & basin and shares the shower between the 2 bathrooms) There is a large separate lounge with a dining table, open plan kitchen plus a patio with sea view. This is often let to 2 couples travelling together or 2 business people sharing, as well as families with older children. One Bedroom Apartment: The other half of the house, is an apartment with one bedroom which has 2 single beds (can be converted to king size), a full bathroom, separate lounge (with sleeper couch), small kitchenette consisting of a microwave, kettle, toaster and small bar fridge, plus a guest toilet and a patio with table and chairs. Double Room: This charming double room is situated next to the pool and has a queen size bed, en-suite shower etc, TV, ceiling fan, desk, fridge, kettle & toaster, coffee table and two easy chairs. It also has a patio with a table & chairs. DIRECTIONS: FROM JOHANNESBURG DIRECTION: Once you have passed Pinetown you will come to Westville (keep to the right so that you don't take the Westville turnoff) and will pass a large shopping centre on your right called the Pavillion. About 2 km further you must take the turnoff marked North & South Coasts (Exit 165) which then splits into 2 after about 50 metres, you must take the right hand fork (South coast/Airport) which then goes over the highway and joins the N2. Take the 1st turnoff (about 4km) marked EDWIN SWALES VC DRIVE/QUEENSBURGH (Exit 161) Stick to the left hand lane and turn left at the traffic lights, this is Edwin Swales Drive (M7). After about 7 km you will go under the southern freeway, go straight on at the traffic lights and from there follow the map above. We are on the left hand side of Marine Drive at number 150 and are opposite number 183. FROM THE AIRPORT OR SOUTH COAST: Come out of the airport past the car park at the end go left. Once on the bridge go into the right hand lane and turn right at the traffic lights and stay in the right hand lane going towards Durban. Once on the highway after about 5 km take the exit marked Jacobs/Mobeni Quality Street. Keep to the right and turn right at the traffic lights going over the highway into Quality Street (direction Jacobs). You will pass through 2 traffic lights (through a bit of an industrial area), and then go up the hill and down. Go straight on at the junction with Tara Road at the bottom of the hill. At the top of the hill is the T junction with Marine Drive, turn left and we are about 4 km on the left hand side number 150 (opposite number 183) just before Admiral Drive. FROM DURBAN CENTRAL: Get onto the Victoria Embankment which runs along the harbour, keep to the left hand lane which leads onto the southern highway going towards the airport. Take the first turnoff which is marked Edwin Swales VC Drive/Bluff, turn left at the traffic lights into Edwin Swales drive and left again at the T junction with Bluff road, from there follow the map. FROM THE NORTH COAST: On the N2 going towards the south coast and the airport, after all the turnoffs for Durban take the EDWIN SWALES VC DRIVE/QUEENSBURGH turnoff (Exit 161) Stick to the left hand lane and turn left at the traffic lights, this is Edwin Swales Drive (M7). After about 7 km you will go under the southern freeway, go straight on at the traffic lights and from there follow the map above.
