ConferencesInkungu Lodge offers a great spot for conferences or team-building break-aways. With a “Board room” size Conference Room with white board and screen, and a flat screen TV with computer connections, which will seat up to 30 people it is the perfect venue for smaller conferences. WeddingsInkungu Lodge is the perfect setting for the intimate wedding of your dreams. The sandstone Lodge blends in seamlessly with the surrounding mountains, offering a magnificent backdrop for your wedding ceremony and photographs. We offer two venues for a Drakensberg wedding, depending on the size of your guest list. Small weddings of 10 - 40 people can be easily accommodated in the main lodge, and larger parties of 40 - 150 are referred to the purpose-built venue away from the Lodge. Both venues offer stunning rim-flow pools and fireplaces for a cosy atmosphere in winter. As part of the package, our wedding coordinator would be happy to assist you by sourcing and negotiating with local vendors for all of your additional needs, such as florists, decor, music, photographers etc. The chefs at Inkungu offer you delectable menu options to suit every budget and complement the theme of your wedding. Activities and AttractionsInkungu Lodge is centrally situated between three major resorts and two excellent golf courses. There is much to do and see in this beauty spot of South Africa. Long or short hikes, horse rides, mountain climbing, trout fishing (we have a trout dam on the estate) and close by are tennis, golf, river rafting, canyoning, kloofing, ziplining and a newly opened canopy tour. For the less sports minded there are wonderful arty meanders with unexpected treasures to be acquired or admired, amidst dainty coffee shops with delectable temptations. Try and fit in a concert at the famed Drakensberg Boys Choir School. You won’t be sorry. |

DIRECTIONS: From Johannesburg From Johannesburg take the N3 to Harrismith and turn off to Bergville, then Winterton. Take the R600 from Winterton into the Central Drakensberg. Pass the Champagne Sports and Drakensberg Sun resorts, then take the smaller district road left (D19). After crossing the single lane bridge, turn left towards Monks Cowl Country Club. Travel past the entrance to the club and keep straight up the hill towards Cathkin Park Estates. You will see Inkungu Estates on the right.
