DESCRIPTION:

Ilala is a holiday cottage (accommodating a maximum of 6 people, children included), situated in Shelly Beach, on the sunny Hibiscus Coast of KwaZulu Natal. Shelly Beach is approximately 100 km south of the Durban, and about 8 km from the Margate airport, overlooking the shores of the Indian Ocean.

For many years Shelly Beach has been one of the most popular holiday resorts on the Hibiscus Coast, simply because, it has so much to offer. Many beautiful beaches (some of them with Blue Flag status), flanked by an ever warm Indian Ocean, attracting sunbathers, surfers, divers, whale watchers and fishermen from all over the world.

ACCOMMODATION

Ilala holiday cottage, with it’s cosy and exotic setting, is ideally situated for an unhurried, unworried, sun-soaked beach bashing holiday with sunshine throughout most of the year.

Ilala Holiday Home has three bedrooms (two of which are en-suite, the main bedroom having a double bed and sea view, the second and third room having two single beds), an open plan kitchen (including a breakfast nook, a dishwasher, microwave oven and tumble drier), and a spacious lounge.

The beach, sea shore and "Shelly shopping centre" is a mere 250m walk from the house.

The house is ideally situated and yet it stands in a quiet area, the high walled property providing all the necessary privacy and security. Due to the climate on the south coast being consistently pleasant all year long, many a summers day or evening can be spent on the verandah or in the garden, with it’s palms and subtropical plants.
