To welcome you to are your hosts, John and Lynne, who will ensure that your stay at Brookdale Cottages will be happy and relaxed. We cater for those who seek comfort, warm hospitality and personal service in a peaceful atmosphere. AccommodationBrookdale Cottages offers three charming, tastefully decorated thatched cottages set around the swimming pool in a pretty country garden. Each cottage has a private garden area with seating and barbeque facilities. Rose Cottage Rose Cottage has one bedroom with a Queen size bed and a single bed, en-suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower, a fully equipped kitchenette. There is no lounge but seating is provided. Bramble Cottage Bramble Cottage has a main bedroom with King size bed and a junior bed for a small child, a second bedroom with twin beds and a loft room with twin beds. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and a separate toilet. There is a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. Briar Cottage Briar Cottage has a main bedroom with twin beds that can be converted into a King size bed if necessary. The second bedroom has a bunk bed. The bathroom is en-suite off the main bedroom and has a bath and cubicle shower. There is no lounge or kitchen however in the main bedroom there is a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Cottage FacilitiesEach cottage is fully equipped with linen, bedding and towels (swimming towels are not provided). For your comfort there are electric warming blankets and down duvets on the beds and a heater in winter, fans for the summer months. Television (SABC 1/2/3 & MNet - no DSTV), bedside radio, hospitality trays are all provided. A cot is available on request. Servicing is done daily except Sundays and some public holidays. Breakfast & DiningIf you do not wish to self cater then we offer a Full English Breakfast or a Health Breakfast in our sunny diningroom. We can prepare a simple dinner by special request however there are several very good restaurants nearby. Additional FacilitiesParking is on the property which is accessed via automated entrance gates. With our guests safety being a priority we have secured the property as best we can. There is a small play area for children with jungle gym and sandpit and plenty of garden for them to run around. |

DIRECTIONS: From N3 take Exit 96 (Cedara/Mt Michael) and follow directions to Hilton on R103. After about 2kms turn left into Groenekloof Rd. Go over the railway line and shortly thereafter turn right and then immediately right again (ie a U-Turn) into Brookdale Way - if you get to the tunnel then you have gone too far! We are at the end of Brookdale Way. Please note that there are not a lot of street lights in Hilton and therefore it is best that you try and arrive before dark if possible.
