Breakerview is situated in the heart of Shelly Beach, an hour drive south of Durban. We are very centrally located; 30 meters from the beach, 40 meters from the small craft harbor and 40 meters from the Shelly Shopping Mall where you will find hundreds of shops, restaurants and movies. AccommodationOur accommodation is very affordable and consists of six units, four of which are sea facing and have magnificent sea views, the other two are non sea facing. We have four units that sleep four and two units that sleep two. All units are serviced daily. All units are beautifully furnished and are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and have overhead fans, DSTV, fridges and individual braai facilities. Four of these units open onto an expansive wooden deck, which overlooks a large swimming pool and secure parking area. Facilities• Internet access • Safes • Secure parking • Baby cot provided • Swimming Pool • Laundry with in walking distance Activities and AttractionsFrom the deck the view of the warm Indian Ocean is unsurpassed. The ski boats moving in and out of the small craft harbor afford interesting viewing, as does the whale and dolphin activity (in season from May to December). There are many activities emanating from this harbour; deep sea fishing, pleasure cruises, dolphin and whale watching trips and scuba diving to the world renowned Protea Banks. The South Coast is renowned for its rocky outcrops and sandy beaches. Fishing from these outcrops in a very popular pursuit, and in the winter months is very productive. There are many beaches in the area, five of them Blue Flag Beaches. The main surfing beach in our area is St Mikes. This is a great beach with some of the finest surfers in the area using it. St Mikes is close to Breakerview and many of our guests stroll along the beach to this venue. There are many other activities in the area. The South Coast boasts some of the best golf courses in South Africa. There are seven such courses, from Selborne Golf Course some 30km north of us to the Wild Coast Country Club some 30 km to the south of us, there are five other golf courses all different to one another, easily accessible from Shelly Beach. Also in the area are coffee farms, crocodile farms, a reptile park (Pure Venom, the largest in Africa) and Oribi Gorge, which has many activities in and around it, and is only 30km away. |

DIRECTIONS: From Gauteng & Free State From Gauteng and Free State, take N3 towards Durban. Just past the Pavilion Shopping Centre take the N2 South Coast Free way. From the Airport take N2, Port Shepstone continue until you get to the Shelly Beach/Izotsha off ramp, turn left go straight down to T Junction, at robots turn right into Marine Dr. Take first left into Albert Meyer Dr. follow road passed Ski Boat Club and we are on next corner.
