DESCRIPTION:

Abba Zimbali Golf Villa is a large four bedroomed luxury home situated on the world renowned Zimbali Coastal Estate in Ballito, KwaZulu Natal.

Accommodation


Each of the spacious bedrooms has a full main-en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Three of the four bedrooms have King Size beds and the fourth has two single beds, however, can be converted to a king size bed if need be. Plenty of cupboard space is available in each of the bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms opens to the outdoors. The master suite has a Jacuzzi bath, private patio and beautiful views of the golf course and sea. All linen (percale linen), including bath and beach towels, is provided.

FACILITIES & SERVICE


Abba Zimbali Beach & Golf Villa has a stunning fully equipped kitchen including a scullery complete with dishwasher, washing machine / tumble drier; however, the house is serviced Monday to Friday. Servicing on weekends and public holidays can be arranged at an additional cost.

The luxurious villa exudes spaciousness with a large dining room, main lounge, separate TV lounge, study and guest toilet. There is an automated double garage with extra parking on the property for additional vehicles. The folding doors the length of the patio brings the indoors outside to the entertainment area where it is not unusual to see buck nestling under the shade of the shrubs alongside the large private heated swimming pool. A safety pool net is provided for your use.

A 4 seater golf cart is parked in the third garage for your use, either to experience the splendid golf course at Zimbali or to take a leisurely drive around the estate.

Activities on the Estate


Beach and Lake:
Guests can enjoy the beach, taking a leisurely stroll looking for shells or sit beside the lake, perhaps enjoying a picnic.

Wildlife:
As a protected environment with only indigenous plants throughout, guests can enjoy the spectacular bird life, the many varieties of buck and the flora and fauna.

Forest Walks:
Enjoy an invigorating walk through the sub-tropical forest or a peaceful stroll to renew and refresh your mind.

Golf:
The Zimbali Golf Course is a world class course, first in Africa to be designed by former British Open and South African, Tom Weiskopf. The golf course has awesome views and offers a challenge to experienced top players whilst affording players with higher handicaps a good game. There is a fully equipped golf shop on site at the Zimbali Club House which also serves breakfasts and light lunches.

Tennis:
Opposite the club house are two floodlit tennis courts for night time playing. Please bring your own tennis racquets and balls.

Swimming Pools:
Guests have access to Zimbali’s spectacular beach side pools. Full beach chair loungers with cushions and umbrella’s are available for the use of guests. Light lunches and drinks can be ordered at the pool side.

Activities off the Estate


Shopping in Ballito includes the Lifestyle Centre and Ballito Junction - 5 minutes by car.
Restaurants in Ballito - 5 minutes by car.
Sibaya Casino - 10 minutes by car.

Gateway Shopping & Entertainment Centre: 20 minutes by car - Very modern shops to meet all your requirements from groceries to that little black dress by Chanel! Plenty of entertainment for the whole family- movie theatres, the Barnyard Supper theatre, wall climbing, skate board rink, wax rink, IMAX theatre for amazing filming, a fun science centre for children (and adults) Coffee bars serving breakfasts, lunches and of course decadent cakes galore.

Ushaka Marine World 40 minutes by car in Durban: A wonderfully informative aquarium giving the feel of being in a sunken ship at the bottom of the ocean. Shark tanks, diving with sharks, a dolphinarium, and of course a child’s all time favourite - the Wet & Wild theme park with water slides and rides for all day fun!

DIRECTIONS:

From the N2 from Durban, take exit number 210 (M4 to Ballito / Compensation). At the stop at the top of the off ramp, turn right and continue straight to Ballito. Go straight round the traffic circle – do not turn. You will pass the Lifestyle Shopping Centre on the RHS and Ballito Junction Shopping Centre on the LHS. At the second traffic circle turn right – this will take you along the M4 towards Umhlanga / Durban.
You will pass the Ballito Medical Centre on your LHS. You will see the Zimbali Coastal Resort / Country Club and shortly thereafter turn left at the traffic circle.

For collection of access disks:
Do not turn left at the traffic circle, go around the circle and follow the M4 in the direction of Durban and turn left at the next Zimbali entrance. Park your car and go to the Contractors Office with your ID.

Once through security, continue straight and at the T-junction turn right. Go past the first entrance to Zimbali called Port Zimbali Estate and continue straight to the second entrance. You will need to produce either your driver’s license or your ID book at security. Once through the security point continue straight until the Zimbali Golf Estate sign and turn left.
Once through the security point, immediately turn left. Pass the Club House on your right and the Tennis Courts on the left. The road splits and becomes a one way road for a few meters and then rejoins to become a two way road again. Shortly afterwards you will go through an unmanned security point for which you will need your access disk.

The house is at 15 Club Drive and is approximately 500m after the last security point.
