Bordered by forest and farmland with a meandering stream running through the property, the Brookdale estate consists of the main Health Hydro with accommodation and treatment facilities, and a separate Day Spa facility. Guest suites are bordered by garden courtyards and the whole environment is conducive to relaxation and tranquility. A limit of 34 guests ensures the personal attention and exclusivity which has become a hallmark. On arrival, a Brookdale consultant meets each guest to ascertain their health, level of fitness, personal preferences and to advise on the most suitable treatments, exercise and diet. Brookdale is the only Health Hydro which follows the Nutri-Fit Lifestyle Management Programme, scientifically developed to aid healthy eating, moderate exercise and coping with stress. Signature TreatmentsHeavenly Twin Massage: A mirrored treatment carried out by two consultants massaging opposite sides of the body in synchronicity. Gentle Heat Therapy: Takes place in the beautiful and private Mosaic Steam Room which has its own secluded courtyard. Includes a product platter consisting of a body scrub, hair mask, body pack and luxurious after care products. AccommodationBrookdale offers a charming range of en-suite accommodation to suit individual tastes with standard, semi-luxury, luxury and executive suites available on a single or sharing basis. • Standard Suite: Room with an en-suite bathroom (bath with hand shower). • Standard Suite with TV: Room with an en-suite bathroom (bath or shower) and a TV. • Semi-Luxury Suite: This is larger than a Standard Suite, with an en-suite bathroom (shower above bath) and a TV and tea-making facilities. • Luxury Suite: Large suite with an en-suite bathroom (spa bath and shower), a TV, fireplace and lounge area. • Executive Suite: Private, luxurious, air-conditioned suite with an en-suite bathroom (spa bath and shower), a lounge leading out onto a balcony overlooking the forest, a TV with DSTV and tea-making facilities. There are no telephones in the rooms, but a communal telephone room is available for receiving and making calls. All our rooms are supplied with electric blankets and heaters to ensure a warm, cosy atmosphere in winter. TVs in the rooms have M-Net and SABC 1,2,3 (except for the Executive Suite, with full DSTV).
