During the months from June to November the whales of the Antarctic grace our coastline and Hermanus is known to have the worlds best land based whale watching!
The Itinerary:
» We start the day off from Cape Town with a stunning drive along the False Bay coastline - many photo opportunities here!
» Our first stop is the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens to take time to smell the flowers and soak up the beauty.
» Optional wine tasting in the Hemel en Aarde valley (heaven and earth) at a top wine farm.
» Once in the old fishing village of Hermanus; markets, museums, galleries, lunch and a whale or two await you.
» We return to the city through the apple producing region of Elgin and over Sir Lowry's Pass with Table Mountain and the setting sun ahead of us.
