The Sandpiper Guest Cottages are self catering cottages in Boggomsbaai, a little known sea side village with a lot of beach, nestling on the southern shores of South Africa, near Mossel Bay. You can walk on 15 km's of golden sand where your only company will be black oystercatchers, sandpipers and sea gulls. The only sounds will be the rolling of the surf and the blowing of the whales in winter. Regular visits by schools of hunting dolphins will remain in your memory to take back home with you. Don't forget to bring your binoculars and cameras! ACCOMMODATION:Each of our thatched cottages is built in the traditional style of the old Cape. Red clay tiled floors compliment the yellow wood and Oregon furniture. The self catering cottages nestling in the fynbos opposite our golf course about 500m from the beach are fully equipped, including CD players, radio, TV, automatic washing machines, microwave ovens etc. Boggomsbaai is peaceful, safe and secure, away from the tourist routes. Apart from the Sandpiper Guest Cottages there are no other commercial activities. The nearest convenience store is situated 9 km's away, at Vleesbaai. We also have our own private sports and spa centre.
