A relaxing retreat - Experience the peace and quiet of the countryside. Malvern Manor (near Fancourt) is a luxury 4 star Guest House on a 50 acre country estate, which sits on the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains. It is surrounded by spectacular scenery, a haven for birdlife, and provides peace, privacy and tranquillity for our guests. There is a large garden, with a heated swimming pool for relaxing by. We also offer fishing in our own dams, for Blue Gill and Bass. ACCOMMODATION:All the rooms are luxury rated and have full en-suite facilities with separate bath and showers and heated towel rails. They also have tea/coffee trays, safes, hair dryers, heaters, electric blankets, percale cotton bed linen, remote colour T.V. DVD. CD. Radio and mini fridge, luxury toiletries plus many extras. There is a Guest Lounge in which to relax. Worcester Room Queen sized room is in the house, with Guest lounge opposite. Overlooking the garden and surrounding fields. There are stairs up to the house. Savannah Room Family room with a double and single bed, plus two armchairs and coffee table. Full en-suite bathroom, with twin wash basins, and looking onto the garden, with private patio. Roman Room Twin or King sized bed, with en-suite roman style bathroom., and twin wash basins. Opens onto patio, where you can sit and relax with a drink overlooking the countryside. Your hosts Michael and Sandra look forward to welcoming you! ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES:Malvern Manor makes an excellent base from which to explore the garden route, which is famous for its scenic beauty, fynbos , long sandy beaches and some of the finest golf courses in the world. Malvern Manor has many attractions and activities within easy reach, so ensuring that your stay with us will be enjoyable, relaxing and a memorable experience. Golfers have a wide choice of world class courses nearby, with Fancourt only 2 km away, George 5 km, Ou Baai 10 km, all gold Standard courses. For the less serious golfer or beginner there are many practice courses within a few kilometres. Other activities include site seeing, game viewing, horse riding, surfing, whale watching, shark diving, abseiling, hiking, canoeing, cycling, to name just a few. Oudtshoorn, Mossel Bay, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay all within one hours drive. There is a selection of fine restaurants nearby and George centre is only 8 kilometres away. Fishing is available on our own dams, and you are welcome to take a gentle walk around the Working Dairy Farm. |

DIRECTIONS: From the N2: Take the airport exit and onto the R404 to Oudtshoorn pass the airport, straight over the cross roads, continue for approx 4km to Fancourt which you will pass on your right and after approx 200 mtrs look for the brown sign to Malvern Manor on your left. Turn left into Napier St. Pass the school, and the Church, at the top of Napier St. go diagonally left into Boshoff St. follow this road for 1.3km and you will see the green sign for Malvern Manor on your right.
