It is guarded by two magnificent sandstone cliffs, The Knysna Heads, which stand over the narrow channel where the lagoon enters the Indian Ocean. Knysna lies in the heart of the Garden Route between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town and offers you a great opportunity to take a relaxing break from the N2. AccommodationDouble Dutch is a beautiful bed breakfast, guesthouse accommodation in Knysna with magnificent views over the Knysna lagoon at the Knysna Heads into the Indian Ocean. Our establishment is within close walking distance to Knysna’s town centre where you will find restaurants and shopping malls. Double Dutch is Dutch, German and English speaking. Our Suites & Rooms provide you with: Bathroom En-suite (bath and separate shower), TV/DSTV, radio, intercom, safe, fridge, double king sized beds, hairdryer, coffee / tea facilities, under floor heating in the bathroom and a comfortable furnished relaxing area with a sleeper couch. Most of the rooms have a veranda and an excellent view over the lagoon and the Knysna Heads. Guests also have the use of a swimming pool and barbecue in our extended, cultivated garden. DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town Take the N2 to George and continue on it towards Knysna. You will see the lagoon on your right when you cross the bridge. Follow that road into Knysna until you see the Total garage on your left. Just before the garage turn left upon the hill (Fletcherstreet). On the T-junction turn left (Handelstreet). Then take the 2nd road to the right and you are on Circular Drive. After ± 150 m. you will find our accommodation on the left side, number 58 Circular Drive, Knysna. From Port Elizabeth Take the N2 to Plettenberg Bay and continue it towards Knysna. Go through the centre until you see the Total garage on your right. Turn right after the garage up hill (Fletcherstreet). On the T-junction turn left (Handelstreet). Then take the 2nd road to the right and you are on Circular Drive. After ± 150 m. we are on the left side, number 58 Circular Drive. From George Airport After landing at George Airport, a shuttle service or vehicle may be hired. Turn right as you leave the airport and then left onto the N2 which leads you to Knysna. You will see the lagoon on your right when you cross the bridge. Follow that road into Knysna until you see the Total garage on your left. Just before the garage turn left upon the hill (Fletcherstreet). On the T-junction turn left (Handelstreet). Then take the 2nd road to the right and you are on Circular Drive. After ± 150 m. you will find our accommodation on the left side, number 58 Circular Drive, Knysna.
