Berluda is well know for its lush garden, authentic South African farm hospitality and traditional South African cuisine, as well as professional ostrich farm tours on JP Schoeman’s working ostrich farm, Buffelsdrift. JP Schoeman was the winner of the Western Cape’s “Best Young Farmer of the year 2006” competition and his wife Laura gives a tour in English, Afrikaans, German, Dutch, (or a mixture of all languages!). This is an experience which is not to be missed. DIRECTIONS: Follow the R 328 from Oudtshoorn towards the Cango Caves. 14 Km further, you will find the turn off, left, to Schoemanshoek. Turn left, and drive straight ahead towards the church.
