About Umdoni Park Golf Club

A relaxing hours’ drive south of Durban and based on 210 hectares of rich KwaZulu-Natal countryside, the Umdoni Park Golf Course enjoys some of the most prolific South Coast views available. Its name has been derived from the exquisite Umdoni trees which are scattered all over the estate.

The course itself is characteristically short and measure in at just 5560m with the front nine played alongside the coast before turning and angling inland for the back nine. The course is surrounded by dense indigenous coastal forest and holes are played at a varying number of “levels” thanks to the hills, the benefits of which include golfers becoming more adventurous with their shots and of course an good deal of breath-taking view points.

Majuba, the signature par 3 12th is played uphill, is just 110m and will have you talking about it for an age at the 19th.

Umdoni Park Golf Course is open every day of the year and is open to visitors at any time and we recommend at least a round there. Book your accommodation in Pennington and your tee-off ahead to avoid disappointment.
