About Parys Golf Course
Having originally been opened in 1876, the Parys Golf Club is infused with plenty of history and heritage, lending it a tangible charm. However, it was revamped in 2007, and so couples this historical elegance with modern facilities and championship golfing on its brand new course.
The Parys Golf Course is designed in such a way that each of the holes presents a welcome challenge to avid golfers. It is situated on the Vaal River, promising spectacular views along the way, which are always fantastic excuses for spending a day on the fairways (as if you need one). There is a halfway house where you can regain your energy after nine holes. Its spacious veranda is the perfect spot in which to sip on a cold drink and snack on tasty food before heading out again.
The Parys Golf Club is equipped with a driving range, putting green and chipping green for those wanting to work on their swing. There is also a well-stocked pro shop that sells clothing, gear and accessories for the best game.
Guests are welcome to play here any time, but the golf course is closed on Mondays. Golf carts are available for hire. Book your accommodation in Parys and your tee-off ahead to avoid disappointment.
