The Boschenmeer Golf and Country Estate which play host to the Paarl Golf Club are set right in the heart of the picturesque Cape Winelands. Surroundings are dramatically beautiful as the Paarl Franschhoek Mountain Range and the fast flowing Berg River anticipate your Teeing-off.
The Boschenmeer Golf Course was designed around the natural beauty and contours of the land allowing the David Frost Signature Course to weave its way gracefully through all 27 holes designed for championship play. Being the first 27 hole course in the Western Cape the challenge was undertaken to allow flexibility of play, challenging the Pro’s and providing fair game for the scratch golfers alike, as a result the course has managed an undeniable balance and continues to inspire many.
The course is laid out over an indulgent 140 hectares and the 27 holes have been grouped into the Berg River, Paarl and Boschenmeer “Nines.” The views, hazard and tree-lined lush green fairways have secured Boschenmeer amongst the must-play courses in South Africa as proven by the voting in of the 4th hole of the Boschenmeer Nine as the best is South Africa in a recent poll.
Pack your weekend bag and head out to the Winelands, ready your drivers, wedges and prepare for some of the most satisfying putting your golfing has seen yet.
Club Facilities include a high-tech golf academy; driving range; state of the art clubhouse; swimming pool; floodlit tennis courts; conference facilities and a playroom for kids can be found at this estate.
