Krugersdorp Golf Course, Krugersdorp
Krugersdorp Golf Course, Nightingale Crescent, Krugersdorp, Gauteng / Hundreds of pine trees, the well-manicured fairways and greens, and the sweeping winds of the distant Magaliesberg range, especially when one is on the elevated fifth tee, make Krugersdorp Golf Course a place of beauty.
The Krugersdorp Golf Course is the permanent venue for the annual Lombard Tyres Transvaal Classic, one of the bigger events on South African professional golf's FNB Winter Tour. Provided the golfer can hit the ball reasonably well, the round begins with back-to-back par-fives which offer relatively early birdie opportunities.
The Golf Course
The scenic layout at this 18-hole course features towering pine trees, beautiful fairways and greens and the stunning Magaliesberg mountain range in the background. Its stature is highlighted by the fact that it is a regular stop on the professional Winter Tour in South Africa.
Closed on Mondays, visitors are very welcome everyday except Saturdays.
