About West Bank Golf Club
South of East London’s famous Buffalo River in the Eastern Cape you will find a top notch coastal course West Bank Golf Club. West Bank has a long history and in 2007 had the tremendous privilege of celebrating its centenary. West Bank takes tremendous pride in their greens and fairways which are immaculate.
The club house stands tall with its pond of Koi looking over both the course and the sparkling Indian Ocean which can also be viewed from every pin. Golfers will find the course challenging especially if the notorious mist rolls in but the rewards are there too. You can find respite at the 19th and if you’re in luck you may even play amongst the tame buck that inhabit the course.
Many golfers regard West Bank a must play so get down to the Eastern Cape and enjoy a game here with the locals that are as friendly as their reputation. Visitors are openly welcomed every day but please be advised that the dress code is strictly appropriate golfing attire and it is recommended that you book your hotel or accommodation in East London and your tee-off times ahead to avoid disappointment.
Facilities offered include a bar, board room, function area, halfway house, pro shop and golf carts.
