Idyllically set in the picturesque suburb of Welgemoed, Bellville and just north east of Cape Town’s city centre you will find the Bellville Golf Club. The 6000 metre long 18 hole Par 72 course takes you on a journey across several deceptive bunkers and five well placedwater hazards all of which follow the natural run of the land. The course challenges you just enough to keep coming back and caters to all levels of golfer.
The majestic Hottentots Holland Mountain range in full view of the player and the surrounding canals dams and tree’s brimming with wildlife lull you into sense of tranquillity and focus as you improve upon your previous shot. Fairways are of lush Kikuyu and greens are manicured American Creeping Bent, making it an absolute pleasure to sink on.
Bellville Golf Course has a proud heritage and is steeped in history with play officially dating back to 1958. Over time there have been many upgrades and today the club opens itself and their facilities up to visitors giving everyone a chance to savour the views and play their testy signature par 3 12th hole.
Club Facilities include a Pro shop; bar; restaurant; secure parking area; a large practice area and putting green, motorised carts and professional caddies.
