An hours drive from Johannesburg, Pretoria or Rustenburg you will find the 20,000 ha / 5000 acre Nooitgedacht Nature Reserve. Game drives in open safari vehicles allow for excellent game viewing. The more than 20 different species of game include giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland, gemsbok, kudu, impala, leopard, hyena and many more.

A variety of savanna grassland, riverine forest, high mountain and woodland make for a scenic hiking experience up to the highest point of the Magaliesberg mountain range with a magnificent view of the Magalies river valley and Buffelspoort.

More than 200 species of trees and scrubs provide for over 200 different species of south african birds. Black Eagles, Tawny Eagles, Fish Eagles, Martial Eagle, Secretary Birds, Hornbills, Red billed Wood Hoopoe-hoe’s to name a few. The vulture restaurant feeds over 400 Cape Griffin, Lappet Faced and White Back Vultures.
