AccommodationThis unique and spacious Hotel has a warm ambiance and is situated in landscaped gardens with the Crocodile River running through it. This countryside hotel offers 50-luxury rooms which includes 37 Luxury Family / Twin Rooms with en suite bathroom, tea / coffee making facilities, plasma television and semi private patios. There are 12 Executive suites with King size Beds, en suite bathroom, tea / coffee making facilities, plasma television and private balconies overlooking the Crocodile River. We also have one Superior / Honeymoon Suite with King Size four poster bed, en suite bathroom, tea / coffee making facilities, plasma television and its own private garden with splash pool. RestaurantRiverstone Lodge has a restaurant open for breakfast lunch and dinner serving an A la Carte menu from 7am to 9pm, seven days a week. For group bookings a beautiful full buffet will be laid out in our specially designed buffet area with a choice of menu options available. Conferences, Weddings and FunctionsRiverstone Lodge offers a range of up-market venues to host your conference, wedding or function: Sahara, Okavango and Savuti Venues: On the banks of the Crocodile River with stunning balconies for you to enjoy the view, these venues can accommodate between 80 and 200 guests depending on seating style. Savannah venue: Suitable for a smaller conference or function, this venue has its own private bar and bathrooms and has doors that open out on to the lush lawns leading to the Crocodile River. This venue can accommodate up to 100 people depending on seating style. Little Feet: Riverstone Lodge has its own childrens party venue, where every little foot has some ground to play on and parents can enjoy the day too by relaxing without having to lift a finger! Little Feet has its own coffee shop available to hire for use at your private function. It also has two lapas for parties, baby showers, kitchen teas, braais or for use at your team building event. The grounds have a jungle gym, trampoline, sand pit, bike track (for use with small plastic bikes), wendy house and a fufi slide! DIRECTIONS: from Johannesburg International Airport: Take the R24 'Johannesburg' Road. Stay on the left hand side of the road (as the next turnoff is very difficult to take should you be on the right hand side) Then take the N3 North to Pretoria. You will then reach an interchange, which will split into three directions - N1 Pretoria, N1 South Roodepoort / Bloemfontein and M1 Johannesburg Take the N1 South Roodepoort / Bloemfontein Take the Beyers Naude / M5 Off Ramp and turn toward Honeydew Follow directions along Beyers Naude Drive below along Beyers Naude Drive / M5 (Old DF Malan Drive): Turn on to M5 Beyers Naude (away from Northcliff / Cresta, towards Hondeydew) Carry on straight for approximately 12km, passing garden World on your right, look out for a left turn onto the R114 Muldersdrift Once you turned left, 2,4km later at the bottom of the hill, at a four-way stop, turn right to Driefontein, and go under the R28 highway 300m later, at a T-junction, turn right again to Muldersdrift / Kromdraai You will find Riverstone Lodge on your right hand side from Pretoria on the R28 / N14: Travelling from Pretoria take the R28 towards Krugersdorp Pass Lanseria / Randburg off ramp Pass Zwartkop / Randburg off ramp Left at the Muldersdrift / Kromdraai off ramp at the bottom of a long hill At 4 way stop, turn left to Muldersdrift / Kromdraai (under R28 highway) At T-junction turn right to Muldersdrift / Kromdraai You will find Riverstone Lodge on your right hand side from the South on the N1: Take Gordon Road off ramp and turn left at the traffic light Turn right onto Hendrik Potgieter and continue past the Hyperama, Clearwater Mall and the Makro Continue past Ruimsig and Featherbrook Estate At the Pinehaven Intersection, turn right to Pretoria on the R28 highway Take the first off ramp to your left signboard Muldersdrift / Driefontein You will find Riverstone Lodge on your right hand side from Krugersdorp: Take R28 (N14) to Pretoria Continue over the Pinehaven intersection, crossing Hendrik Potgieter Take the first off ramp after crossing Hendrik Potgieter Signboard Muldersdrift / Driefontein You will find Riverstone Lodge on your right hand side MAP: Available at: http://www.sa-venues.com/visit/riverstonelodge/map.php |
