DIRECTIONS: From OR Tambo International Airport Exit the Airport following the R24 Highway, in the direction of Johannesburg as far as the intersection with the N3 to Pretoria. Follow the N3 Pretoria for approximately 12 km’s, until you pass under the Johannesburg / Pretoria Highway (M1 and N1). a. You are now on the N1 South-Roodepoort. Continue straight ahead. After 2 km's pass Rivonia Rd turn-off, for another 7 km's until you reach the William Nichol Drive off-ramp. Turn off. At the top of the off-ramp, turn right into William Nichol Drive, and proceed for 2.4 km’s (Monte Casino will be on your right and Fourways Shopping Mall will be diagonally left), take the Honeydew / Witkoppen Road off-ramp to the left, onto Witkoppen Road (do not go straight under the bridge) and proceed along Witkoppen Road for approximately 3 km's, cross the Klein Jukskei Bridge, (the "Rio Grand Diner" is a land mark on your right hand side). Turn right at the first set of traffic lights (Church St) after the bridge. Then follow the 12 cream "Riverbend Country House" signs, with bright red arrows, to Riverbend Country House. From Bloemfontein OR Cape Town on N1 2) On the N1 Pretoria, pass Beyers Naude Drive and glide off at Hans Strydom Drive. At the traffic light, turn left and proceed on Hans Strydon Drive +/- 3 km's. You will see a building on your left, with a big sign saying "Ferreira's" and next to that is a Shell Garage, over the road. On the left, is a Total Garage. Turn right (towards Fourways), onto Witkoppen Road. Proceed 1.4 km's and at another Total Garage on your left, turn left into Riverbend Road. Stay on this road for +/- 3 km's. It changes its name several times and has some major bends. At every bend there is a "Riverbend Country House" sign, with arrows. Follow the signs. From Pretoria Take N1 past Allandale Rd at Midrand, to Buccleuch interchange. Take N1 South Roodepoort / Bloemfontein. Now follow instructions from "a." above.
