The rooms are modern and edgy with an indigenous, African feel - king-sized beds and generous bathrooms featuring ‘Raindance’ showers. ACCOMMODATIONThe Peech has ten bedrooms located in the Main House and the Annexes. Private entrances, king-sized beds, crisp white sheets, feather duvets, oregon pine floors and blesbok skins all give the rooms a natural feel. Flat screen satellite TV's, a Bose iPod SoundDock, WiFi and electronic safes ensure they have the latest technology. The rooms all include a workspace and are generously portioned. The Suite has its own study; the Annex doubles have large picture windows. The bathrooms are spacious, have chic modern porcelain, Hans Grohe fittings, baths and walk-in showers with raindance shower heads, hairdryers and bathrobes.. GYMFor a small additional charge our guests can also enjoy membership of the adjacent Planet Fitness gym - 50m lap pool, cardio machines, weights room and access to all classes. DININGBistro @ The Peech - Bistro @ The Peech is our chic bistro overlooking the pool and lush gardens. Our executive chef regularly changes an innovative menu with a range of seasonal dishes from Moroccan potato soup to the now famous chargrilled rump. Incredible products & numerous artisan dishes change with the seasons. Check out our investigation of the tomato flavour in our tomato salad and the gloriously delicious chocolate torte. The hotel features a Veuve Clicquot champagne bar where we stock a full range of Veuve Clicquot champagnes as well as some innovative cocktail receipies. Try our "Veuve Mixology" - a bottle of Veuve 'Yellow Label' and all the ingredients and recipies for a great evening of champagne cocktails. CONFERENCESThe 10 person boardroom is ideal for hosting a conference or away-day. Add some variety with an à la carte lunch menu, head and shoulder massages or cocktails in the evening. For more informal meetings guests can use the spaces in the lobby, on the patio or in the library. OUTDOORSDespite being one of Africa's largest cities, Joburg is the world's largest man-made forest. The hotel is set amongst these big old trees and an indigenous garden. We have a swimming pool for cooling off in and lazy loungers and hammocks for sitting in the garden and contemplating life. EXPLORINGJoburg has some sites worth seeing as well restaurants, movie theatres and shopping which is all within easy access - Melrose Arch, Rosebank and Illovo. We can arrange tours to: The Apartheid Museum, an architectural masterpiece which attempts to give a balanced account of 20th Century South Africa; Constitution Hill, the new home of the Constitutional Court and a prison where Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi were incarcerated. Joburg has some excellent galleries including MOMA, Everard Read and the Johannesburg Art Gallery. You can also take a township tour of Soweto. |

DIRECTIONS: From Johannesburg International Airport Exit the airport on the R24 towards Johannesburg After 10kms, this feeds you onto the N12 After +/- 1km take the exit marked 'N3 North' (Sandton/Pretoria/N1) Follow the N3 for +/- 15kms. Take the exit marked 'M1/Sandton/Johannesburg' Follow the M1 for +/- 10kms. Take the 'Corlett Drive' Exit Turn right under the highway Follow Corlett Drive up past the auto dealers. After +/- 0.5km & at the robot turn left into Athol Oaklands Rd Within 100 metres turn right into Kernick Rd Follow Kernick up through a 90º right and a 90º left bend.
