Malonjeni offers you small town hospitality with Africa on your doorstep. The 270 hectare guest farm is teaming with game such as wildebeest, zebra and Africa's biggest buck, the Eland. Malonjeni, ‘The Place of the Gathering' true to its name offers conference, wedding and caravan facilities set against a picturesque landscape of rolling hills and dams.

Cycling or walking is an ideal way to get close to nature and experience the 12 mammal species in the park. The not so active can enjoy the option of a relaxing, guided game drive to watch the antics of the majestic Eland, the dainty Springbok and the other interesting species in our secluded little piece of Africa.

CARAVAN PARKS

Conveniently located just half an hour south of Johannesburg, Malonjeni Guest Farm offers two outstanding Caravan Parks nestled in a 270 hectare private game park.

Main Camp:
The Main Camp offers 180 fully electrified and serviced sites, complete with halls, modern family ablutions, fully licensed pubs, restaurant, boma and full recreation facilities to keep adults and children entertained. The Full-Throttle saloon caters for the sports enthusiast and is equipped with a big-screen so that you don’t miss a moment of that special game.

Bush Camp:
For the more adventurous, nestled at the foot of a koppie, the Bush Camp offers 80 electrified stands and its own lapa set against a picturesque landscape of rolling hills and dams. Both the Main and Bush camp have their own swimming pools, and boast stunning, ablution facilities that are kept in a pristine condition.

OTHER ACCOMMODATION

The Stablery:
Six comfortable rooms that can accommodate 18 guests sharing separate ablutions.

Safari Tents:
Twelve two sleeper safari tents are available for an unforgettable camping experience.

Farmhouse:
A well appointed four bedroom farm house that accommodates 9 guests, with two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and an exclusive thatch lapa with private braai facilities.

CONFERENCES

Our conference facilities consist of three separate venues offering various options that can facilitate up to 150 delegates in either a boardroom or cinema style format. The facilities are also ideal for corporate year-end functions, team building or product launches.

GAUTENG WEDDINGS

Malonjeni “The Place of the Gathering” has a romantic thatch chapel and a choice of three reception venues that can accommodate your wedding. The bridal couple are treated to a complimentary stay in our honeymoon suite when they get married at Malonjeni. Professional event coordinators are on hand to provide a turnkey service to ensure your special day is a resounding success.

ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES

Golf:
Malonjeni is situated midway between the towns of Heidelberg and Meyerton in Gauteng. A 20 kilometre trip along pleasant country roads will lead the golfing enthusiast to one of the fine golf courses located in these towns.

Fishing:
Our own Malonjeni dam is well stocked, and another dam within a kilometre of our gate is stocked with Bass to challenge the fisherman.

4x4 Course:
Enthusiasts can test their skills on a 4x4 course just outside the game park.
