Our country retreat offers adults a natural hide-away from the nearby cities. This is a haven, personally developed by the owners, as a retreat for adult guests. Surrounded by a vast garden amongst huge trees, you will experience peace and tranquillity that will create the frame of mind for very productive meetings and relaxation. KoelenRust Estate country retreat and guest farm is the ideal spot for a relaxing weekend away. Whether you are on business in Gauteng, need a few days of peace and quiet or attend a wedding in the area, KoelenRust Estate is the place to unwind. Spend a relaxing day by the swimming pool, sunbathing, or take a leisurely stroll through our tree abounding garden where various species of bird make their home. For the more adventurous, the lodge can be used as a home base when exploring the area with all its arts, crafts and curio shops, game farms and caves. Children are only allowed, when accompanying parents, attending a wedding in the area. Conference FacilitiesKoelenRust Estate is the perfect venue for mini-conferences, workshops, informal boardroom meetings, product launches, staff training, think tanks, training and bosberade. What makes it unique? Your company will have exclusive use of the entire lodge during the time of the conference if all rooms are booked out. The conference room is situated in the garden which will ensure total privacy and seclusion from the outside world. The Lodge provides a total different feeling from the normal conference rooms in a hotel set-up. We offer conference facilities at realistic prices. The conference room can accommodate up to 40 day delegates or 26 overnight delegates (sharing). AccommodationAccommodation consists of country style cottages and rustic garden rooms. It comprises of two thatch roof cottages, four standard garden rooms and four garden suites - all elegantly furnished in a rustic country style to compliment the surrounds. The eleven individually decorated en-suite bedrooms in rustic style will envelope you in comfort. Crisp white linen on our double- or twin beds will ensure a peaceful nights sleep. Each unit has its own private entrance into the garden. We also offer scrumptious meals on request, to ensure your stay is comfortable and care-free. All meals must be booked in advance. Mouth watering breakfasts will ensure that your stay at KoelenRust Country Retreat & Guest Farm remains a highlight of your holiday or business trip. MULBERRY ROOMS Four standard open plan bedrooms, each with their own entrance into the garden. Each room consists of two single beds, en-suite shower room, fully equipped kitchen corner and a television (SABC and e-TV only). JACARANDA ROOMS Four standard open plan rooms, each with a bedroom, lounge, covered veranda and private entrance into the garden. Each room consists of two single beds, en-suite shower room, fully equipped kitchen corner and a television (SABC and e-TV only). BLUE RAIN COTTAGE The thatch roof cottage consists of two bedrooms with en-suite bathroom each (one with bath and separate shower and one with bath and hand shower). A double bed in each room, fully equipped kitchen and lounge to share, television (with M-Net) in each bedroom. POMEGRANATE COTTAGE This studio thatch roof cottage consists of an open plan room, double bed, en-suite shower room, fully equipped kitchen and television (with M-Net). |

DIRECTIONS: FROM PRETORIA (TSWANE) Take the N14 highway to Krugersdorp (N14). Turn off at the Zwartkop/Randburg off ramp (+/- 50km from Pretoria). Turn right at stop sign onto the Zwartkop road. Follow road for +/- 4 km. • Turn right at the KoelenRust board. The gravel road makes a fork after 200m - keep right. Cross small bridge. Follow road which makes a turn to the left on the hill. Keep straight for 300m up to the KoelenRust entrance board on the left. FROM ROODEPOORT Take Hendrik Potgieter Drive to Tarlton. Turn right at robot onto the Krugersdorp/ Pretoria Highway (N14). Take the Zwartkop off ramp (the road makes a hairpin bend to the left). Turn right at the stop sign on the Zwartkop road (in a western direction). Follow road for +/- 4 km. Follow directions from • sign under Pretoria directions FROM NORTHCLIFF, JOHANNESBURG Take Beyers Naudé Drive in a western direction. Drive down Beyers Naude Drive past Honeydew and Garden World. Drive over Krugersdorp/Pretoria Highway (N14). Follow road for +/- 4 km. Follow directions from • sign under Pretoria directions FROM RANDBURG Drive down Malibongwe Drive, past Kya Sands and over Krugersdorp/Pretoria Highway (N14). After the Total garage on your left, turn left into Elandsdrift Rd, drive down for 7 km. Turn left at T Junction and drive for 5 km - drive past Ekudeni and Moon & Sixpence. Turn left at KoelenRust signboard on the gravel road. Follow directions from • sign under Pretoria directions FROM FOURWAYS OR SANDTON Drive Down Cedar Rd, past Broad Acres and Dainfern respectively, until the T-junction. Turn left and immediately right, drive over the Krugersdorp Highway, until the T-junction. Turn left and first right on to Elandsdrift Rd. Drive down the road for 7 km and turn left at the T-junction and drive for 5 km - drive past Ekudeni and Moon & Sixpence. Turn left at KoelenRust signboard on the gravel road.
