Guests entering the luxurious Kloofzicht Lodge are greeted with the stunning vista of endless stretches of water as the infinity pool spills over into the Kloofzicht dam, finally settling into the Zwartkops mountains in the distance. Kloofzicht comprises 18 deluxe superior suites, 10 superior suites, 20 executive suites and 12 family / executive twin suites, overlooking either the six exquisite fly fishing dams or the unspoilt Zwartkops gorge and mountain. Five star conference and wedding facilities satisfy the needs of even the most discerning guests. The small but magnificent nature reserve upon which Kloofzicht is built, is home to kudu, impala, blue wildebeest, eland, red hartebeest, springbuck, gemsbok, zebra as well as a fascinating array of bird life. Kloofzicht is home to the Fly Fishing Academy. ACCOMMODATIONThe unique combination of pure, unaffected, textured interiors are carried throughout the lodge. From the warm luxury of the Little Foot Bar and Restaurant to the elegant and stylish conference facilities, one will experience the true effect of the hand-cut sandstone tiles and majestic mahogany. Natural wood and thatched roofs, cobblestone, rich fibres and leather, bathtubs with exquisite views, all complete the mood of timeless luxury. DININGDinner involves tucking into the expertly prepared cuisine. A range of options at dinner will leave you spoilt for choice, taken in the main dining area or under the stars in the outside boma area. Sundowners or night-caps can be had in the aptly named ‘Little Foot’ bar. Large glass doors open up to reveal a beautifully appointed rim flow pool, creating the effect of the pool flowing into the dam set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens. The gorge plays host to magnificent sunrises and sunsets over the dam. The wine cellar is a warm and welcoming space, making it the perfect venue for intimate lunches or dinners for groups of up to 20 people. The Cellar is equipped with a flat screen television to ensure sporting events can be enjoyed with no interruptions. FLY-FISHINGA fly-fishing experience of a lifetime awaits you, be you pro or novice. Trout, bass, carp and the ever-elusive yellow fish will provide you with hours of entertainment and the opportunity to relax and unwind. Kloofzicht Lodge has six exquisite fly-fishing dams all which may be fished in with the exception of our Main Members Dam. All our dams are stocked with a variety of fish species such as trout, bass, carp, yellow fish and tilapia. Fishing is open from 06h00 until 18h00 and is subject to the occupancy of the hotel. The three conference rooms complete with state of the art conference facilities seating between 10 and 120 delegates. The brand new 228 sqm (23.5 x 9.7 m) Emerald Room at Kloofzicht Lodge has exquisite views over the Kloofzicht Dam and Zwartkops Mountains and seats up to 120 delegates in cinema style. The venue can be subdivided into two separate conference or function units. State of the art conference facilities are standard at Kloofzicht Lodge and underfloor heating makes winter conferences an absolute pleasure. Kloofzicht Lodge provides a perfect venue for upmarket conferences, functions and product launches. An entertainment area and boma adjacent to the newly launched venue promises to be popular over the festive season for year end celebrations. A wonderful alternative to enjoy the African outdoors is the boma, perfect for team building and special occasions. DIRECTIONS: From OR Tambo International Airport: (along Beyers Naude Dr / M5) • Take the R24 'Johannesburg' road. • Then take the N3 North to Pretoria (at the Gillooly’s Interchange). You will then reach an interchange, which will split into three directions - N1 Pretoria, N1 South Roodepoort / Bloemfontein and M1 Johannesburg • Take the N1 South Roodepoort / Bloemfontein • Take the Beyers Naude / M5 off ramp and turn right towards Honeydew • Keep straight on Beyers Naude through Honeydew • Go over the N14 (Krugersdorp highway) • Keep straight on until you get to a Kromdraai road sign, turn left into Kromdraai road • Keep straight on this road until you get to a big traffic circle • Kloofzicht Lodge’s main gate will be on your right hand side Alternatively ... from OR Tambo International Airport: (along Malibongwe Dr / R512) • Take the R24 'Johannesburg' road. • Then take the N3 North to Pretoria (at the Gillooly’s Interchange). You will then reach an interchange, which will split into three directions - N1 Pretoria, N1 South Roodepoort / Bloemfontein and M1 Johannesburg • Take the N1 South Roodepoort / Bloemfontein • Take the Malibongwe Dr (previously Hans Strydom) R512 off ramp and turn right • Keep straight on the R512 until you reach the N14 Krugersdorp highway • Turn left onto the highway heading towards Krugersdorp • Take the Muldersdrift / Driefontein off ramp. Then turn left underneath the freeway. • 300m later, at a T-junction, turn right again to Driefontein • Continue on this road until you get to a T-junction • Kloofzicht Lodge’s main gate will be in front of you from Fourways • From William Nicol turn left onto Witkoppen • At the next traffic light turn right into Cedar road • Carry straight on (you will pass Cedar Square on your left, Broadacres on your left and Dainfern on your right) until you reach a T-junction • At the T-junction turn left • Carry straight on till you reach the traffic light (at the Lion park) • At the traffic light turn right onto the R512 • Keep straight on the R512 until you reach the N14 Krugersdorp highway • Turn left onto the highway heading towards Krugersdorp • Take the Muldersdrift / Driefontein off ramp. Then turn left underneath the freeway. • 300m later, at a T-junction, turn right again to Driefontein • Continue on this road until you get to a T-junction • Kloofzicht Lodge’s main gate will be in front of you from Pretoria • Take the N14 highway towards Krugersdorp • Take the Muldersdrift / Driefontein off ramp. Then turn left underneath the freeway. • 300m later, at a T-junction, turn right again to Driefontein • Continue on this road until you get to a T-junction • Kloofzicht Lodge’s main gate will be in front of you from Lanseria Airport • From Lanseria airport, turn left on the R512 (towards Randburg) and turn right at the Ingwenya Lodge sign (the first tar road to the right) • Continue along this road to the T-junction • Turn left onto Beyers Naude / M5 keep straight until you get the Kloofzicht Lodge / Glenburn Lodge / Kromdraai road signs on the right • Turn right into Kromdraai road.
