Originally built on a farm in the tranquillity of the semi-rural highveld, Eskom Convention Centre provides a friendly ambience, superior service and outstanding venues, where clients and their guests can feel right at home.

Set in 105 hectares of land populated by Zebra, Blesbok, Springbok and of course the Guinea Fowl, Eskom Convention Centre ensures a relaxed country atmosphere, especially in terms of its rich bird life. Over forty different bird species can be spotted on the property.

Nature of Markets and Customers Served: Because of the diversity of the venue and the facility, we have had the pleasure of hosting a range of corporate clients, associations, government departments, as well as the ex and current President of South Africa. Eskom and its subsidiaries remain a very valuable client in both our Commercial Leasing and Conference and Gauteng accommodation areas.

Convention Centre:

Situated on a farm in Midrand, the Eskom Convention Centre ensures a relaxed country atmosphere, especially in terms of its rich bird life and Blesbok. The location offers a safe environment with ample covered parking and boasts all the convenient features you have come to expect of a professional conference centre. At the Eskom Convention Centre, our first priority is to ensure that our clients and their guests feel right at home.

Catering facilities:

Scrumptious meals are available - from the exotic to the traditional. Our professional team can cater for any function, no matter how large or small. We will customise your menu to suit your taste and budget.

Accommodation:

The Eskom Convention Centre offers a wide spectrum of accommodation facilities, ranging from comfortable, inexpensive accommodation to the ultimate in luxury, to cater for your needs and suit your budget. All accommodation facilities are conveniently situated on the premises of the Eskom Convention Centre. The location offers a safe environment and ample covered parking.

De Luxe:
Kendal (single and double): The Kendal de luxe rooms offer comfortable, furnished accommodation with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, television (including M-Net) and a communal lounge. The Kendal units consist of a total of 126 bedrooms (71 single bedrooms and 55 with double beds). Each unit contains 18 bedrooms (nine on each level), four rooms have double beds, the rest have single.

Majuba:
The Majuba accommodation unit comprises 77 single rooms. The rooms are equipped with the same conveniences as the Kendal.

Standard Accommodation:
Standard accommodation comprises single bedrooms with bathrooms en-suite. Each of these bedrooms are also equipped with heating, tea/coffee facilities, clock radio, television, telephone and bathroom en-suite.

Economy:
Economy accommodation comprises affordable single accommodation with a washbasin in each room and built-in study areas. Four bedrooms share a bathroom.

Paraplegic Guest:
One especially designed unit is available to accommodate paraplegic guests and is equipped with a double bed, clock radio, television, telephone, tea/coffee facilities and bathroom en suite.
