The Guest House is stunning with very up market finishes and furnishings. The house is in the middle of a very nice suburb but you are minutes away from all the highways and byways to all the major business centers. When you arrive you will be welcomed by your hosts, Anton and Antoinette with an ice cold fruit cocktail and be escorted to your room of choice. AccommodationThere are 4 different room types and all of them are very popular and well maintained. Every room has got different size beds to sleep on, DSTV, mini bar and a study table and light where you can prepare your work for the days to come. The units are also serviced daily and we provide a laundry service on site. Each of our units has got its own private bathroom. In the guesthouse you have the choice of relaxing in the lapa area, the lounge or dining area or in the comfort of your own room. Breakfast & DiningYou have a choice of a full English breakfast or a continental breakfast included into your daily rate. We also do supper arrangements by request at a very reasonable rate. FacilitiesWe also provide safe and secure parking for your vehicle. We also have a shuttle service to and from the airport as part of our service to our clients. At Big 5 B&B you have for your relaxation a couple of things to do. After a long day at the office, come and relax under a bushveld lapa or get into a heated pool with something cold from the bar. Attractions and ActivitiesThe suburb where Big 5 Guest House is situated has got plenty of interesting things to do. If you feel like visiting one of South Africa’s most beautiful casinos, don’t look any further. Emperors Palace is a mere 5 km drive and there you can wine and dine, play the slot machines or spin the roulette wheel until late! If you are tired and would like to visit the movies, there are a couple of cinemas just waiting for you in less than a 5 minutes drive away. For the hungry, there are plenty good restaurants in a 10 km radius to choose from. The enthusiastic golfer can choose from plus / minus 10 of South Africa’s best maintained golf courses in and around the area and will get to know the African bush and sun in no time. For the people that like to play bowls, we can arrange a game at the Kempton Park Bowls Club and you can relax in between your busy schedule. For the sport lover, we are very close to four of South Africa’s major rugby, cricket and football stadiums. Just to mention a few, Coca Cola Park (Ellis Park), Loftus Versveld, FNB Stadium, Wanderers Cricket Grounds and Super Sport Park. We can always arrange tickets for our guests to go and watch major sporting events. |
