Parkview is part of the Greater Rosebank Region and the Guest House is just around the corner from Johannesburg Zoo, the famous Orient Express Westcliff Hotel and Parkview Golf Course. The streets are lined with Jacaranda trees and the bird life is exceptional. Parkview Village with delightful shops and restaurants is within easy walking distance and other shopping and eating-out areas such as Rosebank, Killarney, Melville, Greenside and Parkhurst are close by. ACCOMMODATION‘At the Zoo’ Guest House offers executive en-suite rooms on a bed and breakfast basis. There are also 2 self-contained units in ‘The Cottage’. These can be booked for a minimum stay of 1 week on a self-catering basis. Credit cards are accepted. Limited smoking. German spoken. Wireless internet available. Main House (Bed and Breakfast) The executive en-suite rooms are individually decorated and furnished with either king size beds or two single beds and have casual seating as well as work areas. All rooms have TV, heating, fans, bar fridges, tea/coffee trays as well as safety deposit boxes. All bathrooms have bath as well as shower, under-floor heating, heated towel rail, hairdryer and gowns. The Cottage (Self Catering or Bed and Breakfast) The Cottage has two self-catering units, both equipped to the same standard as the executive rooms in the main house. ‘The Suite’ consists of one double bedroom, bathroom with corner shower and under-floor heating. open-plan lounge with dining area and fully equipped kitchen. ‘The Studio’ has 2 single beds, dining table and kitchenette. The bathroom has bath/shower and under-floor heating. Both units are fully air-conditioned and have their own satellite decoders. The Cottage has its own driveway with electronic gate and electric fence. Each unit has an outside area with garden table and chairs as well as barbecue facilities. The Cottage overlooks the fenced-off swimming pool and has direct access to the Main House. BreakfastContinental as well as English Breakfast is served in the Guest Lounge which opens to the terrace and swimming pool. |
