Meet at Cape Helicopters at the V&A Waterfront (or with prior arrangement, we can collect you from your accommodation and take you to the helicopter base). Have a short debriefing and off you go. We can take up to five people in one helicopter. The flight is approximately 15 - 20 minutes.
The routing is from the Waterfront, over the Stadium, Mouille Point, Sea Point, along the Atlantic Seaboard to Bantry Bay, Camps Bay, past the Twelve Apostles around Karbonkelberg Mountain, over the wreck (The Boss), Seal Island and over the Constantia Nek. Here you will see the Cape Flats, False Bay and a beautiful view of Bishops Court, Constantia Vineyards, Tygerberg and if its clear, even up the West Coast. Cameras are a must.
Enjoy either a scrumptious breakfast or have lunch at one of three restaurants on a Constantia Wine estate. (we can make a reservation for you on request). After your meal, you will then be collected by a Big Twin Harley Davidson Motorcycle. We saddle up outside the restaurant, fit you with a helmet and gloves and off we go for our 40 minute ride back to the Waterfront.
We ride along Spaanschemacht Road, past vineyards, beautiful trees and wind our way up and over the Constantia Nek and down to Hout Bay. We then ride up the well known Suikerbossie and over the neck passing LLundudno. From here its sea views all the way.
A fantastic mixture of good surface, beautiful sea views, mountain views and a winding road until we reach Camps Bay. Take photos at Maidens Cove and we make our way along Clifton, Bantry Bay, Sea Point, ride along the promenade to Three Anchor Bay, Mouille Point lighthouse and eventually, back to the Heli Base at the Waterfront.
This tour is also offered in the comfort of a luxury Mercedes Vito should you not want to ride on the back of a Harley Davidson. (Please bring suitable riding gear e.g., boots and a warm jacket).
