We provide quality binoculars for those sightings a little too far, warm blankets for early morning and waterproof ponchos in case of a summer shower. An award-winning country lodge in the heart of the Lowveld, approximately ten minutes from the Kruger National Park - this lodge is a firm favourite for service, ambience and food. It is a stylish, but relaxed and informal Lodge, which has extensive menu choices with meals available throughout the day. This was one of the first two establishments to be awarded the coveted chef’s hat – the Good Food Accolade for Inspired Chefs. It is also one of only five establishments in Mpumalanga to receive an award for its wine list.
There are no dress regulations and guests may wear shorts at all times if they wish! Television with 52 satellite channels is available in the lounge. There is a variety of board games available with a library of books on all topics in a number of languages.

Day 2: Lodge to Kruger National Park
An early start, you will be met at the lodge before the Kruger gates open. With an elevated view, open Land Rover Safaris are a true ‘Out of Africa’ experience.

Quality binoculars for sightings just a little too far; warm blankets for chilly early mornings; waterproof ponchos in case of a shower and mineral water & fruit juice are all available on the vehicle. For the keen photographer, there are bean bags for extra stability when taking that special shot – it could be a pride of lions, perhaps a leopard lounging in the fork of a tree or a family herd of elephants bathing in the river, the opportunities are endless.
Arrive back at the lodge in the late afternoon for sundowners at the friendly bar sharing experiences with other travellers. An ŕ la carte dinner menu offers great food choices.
