Package Tour - 2-7 night Kruger Boutique Safari Premier
A Kruger Safari in an open Land Rover is a true ‘Out of Africa’ experience. From the minute you settle into your comfy individual seat equipped with a blanket for chilly early mornings, a waterproof poncho to keep you dry if there’s a sudden summer storm and a pair of quality binoculars for special sightings, you know you’re in for a treat. John and I (Ann) believe we have to be equal to the beauty that nature provides, that's why our exclusive wildlife experiences are all about providing personalised and friendly service of the highest standard. Whether we’re arranging a road transfer for you, recommending and booking accommodation, or taking you out on safari; we aim - together with our highly skilled guides – to enthral and entertain you with our passion for the bush and its inhabitants – every step of the way. We’d like to think it’s one of the reasons we were presented with an award in recognition of exceptional service in the South African Tourism Market at the 2011 Welcome Awards.

Day 2: Lodge to Kruger National Park
Your qualified, professional and personable guide will welcome you on board our comfortable and well-equipped Land Rover open safari vehicle. Before long, you’ll enter Kruger through the southern section, where Elephant, buffalo herds, lion, rhino and a variety of general game including giraffe, zebra and various antelope species are often seen.
Along the way, your guide’s incredible knowledge of the bush and its inhabitants will enthral and entertain you, and if you’re in need of refreshments, mineral water and fruit juices are provided at no extra charge.
Our vehicles are fitted with 2-way radios, enabling communication of the best wildlife sightings. Who knows... you could witness one of nature’s rare sightings such as the ‘Battle at Kruger’ – the most watched wildlife clip in the history of YouTube and now a National Geographic documentary.
Game viewing is hungry work, so we’ll stop for a picnic breakfast (which will be provided by the Lodge) and lunch (which will be for your own account) at one of Kruger’s charming rest camps along the way.
The day will be over all too soon and towards late afternoon, we’ll head back to your hotel. As the sun begins to set, keep your eyes open though... this is when the predators like hyenas and leopards start their day.
After a memorable day, return to the lodge for sundowners and relaxation. The evening highlights are the sumptuous gourmet dishes, fine wines and the impeccable service of the candlelit restaurant.
Day 3: Lodge to Kruger National Park
Awaken to a spectacular African sunrise, before embarking on an early morning open vehicle drive. Today we’ll visit a river or dam where we can observe hippos in their groups of 10 – 30. Chances are we’ll spot a crocodile too – these reptiles that average 5m in length and live up to 100 years old, are well represented in Kruger’s rivers.
On the way to camp or a scenic picnic spot for lunch, athough it is the hottest time of the day, there's a good possibility of seeing a majestic kudu bull, a shy duiker or a delightful herd of elephants bathing and playing in the river, a joy to watch.
After taking an hour’s break for lunch, we get back on board the open safari vehicle. And given that we’re in radio contact with other open vehicles, our destination could be to a pride of lions or a secretive leopard lounging in the fork of a tree. With 147 mamals in the Kruger National Park and over 500 bird species, the possibilities are endless, there's always a new experience. That's why we have returning guests, including a UK family who have just celebrated their 10th Safari with us.
Back to the lodge and perhaps indulge in a body massage or beauty treatment before dinner.
Day 4: End of Itinerary to or extend for another night or two
Breakfast at the Lodge and it's almost time to leave this magnificent region - or stay another day or two! It is true that a visit to rural Africa is like a step back in time, where nature rules and mankind is but a spectator. We look forward to welcoming you back here again soon!
