Stay in a genuine bushveld environment without electricity in an eco-friendly 10-bed safari camp. No electric lights or televisions. The spacious rooms are cool in summer, warm in winter; kerosene lanterns for lights and “donkey boilers” (fire geysers) for hot water. Rangers carry rifles on all game drives and you are escorted to your chalet after dark. The lodge brings back memories of ‘Colonial Africa’ of a bygone era, providing visitors with an unforgettable bush experience. Optional Extras: Elephant back safari; Micro-light flights.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Phalaborwa, Hoedspruit or Nelspruit to Kryger National Park
Visit the Cheetah Breeding project en-route to the authentic safari camp. Experience night game viewing on 22 000 acres of a Big Five private nature reserve. Lanterns welcome you back and guide you along the pathways to the bush boma for an African feast under the southern stars.
Overnight: Authentic Safari Camp
Day 2: Kruger National Park
Become one with the bush as you track silently after the spoor of wild animals during an early morning game drive. Brunch is awaiting you on return where after you can relax on the open deck or around the swimming pool to absorb and enjoy the sights and sounds of the African bush. Yet another thrilling sunset drive and dinner in the boma on return.
Overnight: Authentic Safari Camp
Day 3: Kruger National Park
Depart after breakfast to Kruger National Park where you can discover one of Africa’s greatest wildlife kingdoms. Gameviewing en-route to the rest camp. Join the Park’s rangers for a sunset / night drive with spotlights to search for the predators and other nocturnal species. Dinner in the Park’s restaurant.
Overnight: Kruger Park rest camp
Day 4: Kruger National Park
Wake up before sunrise for a short walking trail with armed Park Rangers where you get closer to the Big Five’s natural habitat on foot. Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the bush followed by more game viewing. Relax during the hottest time of the day. Take a late afternoon drive before returning for exquisite bush cuisine, served around a roaring fire under the magic of the African night sky.
Overnight: Kruger Park rest camp.
Day 5: Kruger National Park to Phalaborwa, Hoedspruit, Nelspruit
Awake to dawn for coffee / tea and rusks before heading out on the last morning game drive. Let the wonders of the bush, the bird life and spectacular scenes imprint on your memories before we return to camp or enjoy breakfast en-route to your point of departure.
