Day 1: Cape Town
Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a representative and transferred to the Cape Grace

Spend three nights at Cape Grace in a superior room. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis.

The Cape Grace includes luxury chauffeur transfers in and around the city within a 10km radius (subject to availability), use of Hot Spa Area, mineral spa bath, steam room, sauna, rain and body shower and a Cape history and wine presentation

Day 4: Cape Town to Swakopmund
Transfer to Cape Town International Airport for scheduled flight to Walvis Bay – scheduled flight not included in costing. Upon arrival at Walvis Bay Airport you will be met by a representative and transferred to Swakopmund Hotel & Entertainment Centre.

Spend two nights at Swakopmund Hotel & Entertainment Centre in a twin bedded room. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 5: Swakopmund
Swakopmund offers a lot of activities and adventures to keep you busy.
But apart from the organised activitites, there is so much more to keep you busy... Angling from the beach is a day adventure for the whole family. i
Enjoy a day at the beach, wide open and clean white sandy beaches await you. Or spend the day at the well known Mole basin with its protected beach area. There is also a kiddies swimming pool and playground and two restaurants.

Visit the aquarium at the Fishing research and information centre, go horse riding in the Swakop River or treat yourself and family to a Camel ride. Visit the Asparagus project in the Swakop River, drive out to Goanigontes, and visit the moon landscape, but treat yourself and take the adventure route (4x4 required) and follow the two track road via the Swakop River from Goanigontes follow the gravel road to the top and enjoy the awesome beauty of the moon landscape.

Day 6: Swakopmund to NamibRand Private Nature Reserve
Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge.

Spend three nights at Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge in a twin bedded villa built into natural rock. Accommodation is on a full board basis including park fees and scheduled activities in the NamibRand Nature Reserve.

The surrounding area lends itself to numerous activities which include scenic drives by four-wheel drive vehicle on the NamibRand Nature Reserve where you encounter a variety of desert animals such as gemsbok, zebra, springbok, bat-eared fox, aardwolf, caracal and jackal. A wonderful way of experiencing the dunes is by All Terrain Vehicles with an experienced guide, who takes one along set paths so as not to damage the fragile ecology. Guided nature walks and hiking trails provide an insight to the scenic and ecological aspects of the environment with its wide diversity of desert-adapted flora and fauna. At the end of the day the blanket of stars, which lights up the desert sky, are brought to life through the lodge’s high-powered computerised telescope. Housed in a separate building, this Meade Telescope affords the amateur and the professional stargazer a close-up view of the galaxy.

Day 8: Soussusvlei

Exhilarating game drives
Lodge's resident naturalists will lead you on scenic game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, exploring the grass plains and red sand dune belts of the NamibRand Nature Reserve.
See rare wildlife like the oryx antelope and mountain zebra.

Quadbiking (all-terrain four-wheeled motorcycle) excursions
Exploring the sand dunes on quadbikes is an unforgettable desert experience. These excursions are guided to ensure minimal impact on the dune habitat.


Interpretive wilderness walks
As many of the desert’s attractions are small and well camouflaged, guided and marked walking trails offer the perfect opportunity to experience this fascinating desertscape on foot. Regretfully, children 16 years and younger cannot participate in bush walks.

Stargazing
Traverse magnificent desert skies from the Lodge’s private observatory, boasting the most powerful electronic telescope in Namibia apart from the National Observatory. Sossusvlei’s resident astronomer will ensure that you receive an unforgettable cosmic experience.

Transfer by light aircraft from Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge to Hosea Kutako (Windhoek) International Airport where our services end.
