Day 1: Cape Town
Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a Representative who will hand over the necessary documentation to you for your tour, and transfer you to Ellerman House. Here you will spend your first four nights in South Africa.

Situated in the gardens of Ellerman House, the Ellerman Villa and Spa was fashioned to offer a contemporary edge to the classic original. Cool colours, inspired by the refreshing palette of the Atlantic Ocean, define the overall look of the five bedroomed, sea facing Villa that comes with a butler, and is one of the most technologically advanced 'smart' houses in the country. Comprising a Spa, with two bedrooms, on the ground floor, a living area on the second and three bedrooms on the third, Ellerman Villa provides a home-away-from-home for the modern traveller comfortable in a minimalist environment.

Day 5: Cape Town to Sabi Sands Greater Kruger
This morning, you will be collected from your hotel and will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to O.R. Tambo International Airport (flight excluded). You then depart on a scheduled charter flight to Leadwood Lodge in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve.

Exeter is situated within the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, renowned for having the best Big Five game-viewing in South Africa and is famous for its incredible leopard sightings. Intimate and elegant Leadwood Lodge is the perfect choice for a family or group of friends sharing a safari. Featuring four air-conditioned suites each with a private fireplace, sitting room and plunge pool and distanced from one another in order to offer solitude and serenity.

Spend three nights at Leadwood Game Lodge, exclusive-use villa which consists of four suites. Accommodation is on a fully inclusive basis (including: all meals, teas & coffees, two game drives daily, walking & night safaris, local drinks on game drives and emergency medical evacuation).

Day 6: Sabi Sands
The reserve is home to most of South Africa's finest Game Lodges and forms part of the world renowned Greater Kruger National Park. The day is devoted to a first open 4X4 safari in this magnificent wilderness area

Day 7: Sabi Sands
The day is devoted to two open 4X4 safaris in search of Africa's legendary Big Five. The safaris are led by an experienced ranger whose intimate knowledge of the habits and behavior of the different animals is sure to ad to the enjoyment of the experience. A bush walk is also conducted during the day giving guests the opportunity to come into close contact with some of the plains game species while on foot.

Day 8: Sabi Sands Greater Kruger to Maputuland
Today you depart the Sabi Sands region on a scheduled charter flight to Phinda Private Game Reserve, situated in the lush Maputaland region in northern KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Bordering the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park – a World Heritage Site – Phinda comprises 23 000 hectares (57 000 acres) of prime conservation land. Seven distinct habitats shelter an abundance of wildlife including Africa’s Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo) and over 380 bird species, while the marine diversity off the nearby coast of Sodwana is said to rival the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

Spend three nights in the exclusive-use, four-bedroom Getty House. It is an intimate family lodge, perfect for family celebrations and special occasion safaris and offering an interactive kitchen which allows for intimate, informal dining, and a rim-flow infinity pool provides for respite from the heat of the day. Guests have their own private ranger, butler, chef and 4x4 safari vehicle. Accommodation is in four spacious suites featuring unique sliding panel windows with beautiful views. Accommodation is on a fully inclusive basis (three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local branded spirits and beers, teas and coffees, two game drives daily in open safari vehicles, refreshments on game drives, one hour nature walks subject to availability and accompanied by experienced and armed trackers, laundry and emergency medical evacuation insurance).

Guests can look forward to exciting game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles led by experienced rangers and Zulu trackers, as well as thrilling optional activities on the water, in the air and on the beach.

Flight of the Fish Eagle - Experience a breathtaking 60 minute flight over the diverse Maputaland wilderness of scenic pans, coastal lakes, bushveld, densely vegetated dunes and wildlife, and spot whales, whalesharks, dolphins and turtles in the magnificent Indian Ocean.

Scuba Safaris - A 15 minute flight and short drive takes you to one of the top 10 dive sites in the world. Diving the reefs of Sodwana Bay allows you to experience a portrait of marine diversity, with approximately 1200 species of fish and spectacular coral formations. (Can be combined with Maputaland Beach Adventures)

Deep Sea Fishing - Fly to Sodwana Bay, a fisherman’s paradise inside a Marine Reserve, where a short drive takes you to your 25-foot sport fishing boat rigged for bill (marlin and sailfish), game (barracuda, yellowfin tuna and kingfish) and shark fishing. Phinda supports ‘catch-and-release’ procedures for deep-sea fishing.

Maputaland Beach Adventures - A 15 minute flight and a short drive in a specially designed 4x4 beach vehicle takes you to the beautiful beach at Jesser Point. Depending on the tides, you will be driven to a secluded spot where you can enjoy snorkelling, swimming, or simply sunning on the endless beach, as well as a delicious picnic.

False Bay Horse Riding - Enjoy the unmatched delight of riding well-schooled horses through False Bay Nature Reserve. A 1.5 hour ride takes you through the rare Dry Sand Forest habitat and along the picturesque False Bay lakeside. After the ride, relax and enjoy a delightful picnic snack while the horses rest at the water’s edge.

Night Turtle Drives (seasonal) - A 45 minute drive from Phinda takes you to meet your beach ranger who will show you the wonders of the beach at night. In season, loggerhead turtles and gigantic leatherback turtles make the strenuous trail up the beach to lay their eggs - a humbling experience. Depending on the tides, you will either enjoy snacks, drinks and hot toddies on the beach or a delicious surfside supper.

Isikolethu ("Our Culture") Community Experience - Experience the wonders and diversity of the Zulu culture while exploring the Mduku, Mnqobokazi and Nibela rural communities surrounding the Reserve. Guests will depart after breakfast at 10h00, enjoying visits to Macebo crèche, the Sangoma (witch doctor), Ngubane Homestead and Mdluli Ancestoral Home. After an action-packed morning, guests will return to Phinda in time for a late lunch and their afternoon game drive.
