Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Port Elizabeth to Grahamstown
Leave Port Elizabeth for a spectacular drive through Frontier country to Grahamstown. “Spirits of the Past Tour” follows with lunch on a battle site overlooking the 1820 settler city of Grahamstown.
Visit heritage sites and the Observatory Museum (The genuine Victorian Camera Obscurer - only found in the Southern hemisphere).
Includes visits to 1820 Settler Monument and churches and British forts
Book into 1820 National Monument (Called the Cock House) which consists of luxury rooms and restaurant and former guest include President Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki.
Overnight: Cock House, Grahamstown

Day 2: Grahamstown to Port Elizabeth
After breakfast we depart for 1820 settler towns, Bathhurst, Sidbury, Salem and Port Alfred. Viewing very many historical buildings and churches.
Lunch will be in the coastal fishing village of Port Alfred before returning to Port Elizabeth at around 5pm.
