Tour Description

During the months from June to November the whales of the Antarctic grace our coastline and Hermanus is known to have the worlds best land based whale watching!

We start the day off from Cape Town with a stunning drive along the False Bay coastline - many photo opportunities here!

Our first stop is the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens to take time to smell the flowers and soak up the beauty.

Optional wine tasting in the Hemel en Aarde valley (heaven and earth) at a top wine farm.

Once in the old fishing village of Hermanus; markets, museums, galleries, lunch and a whale or two await you.

We return to the city through the apple producing region of Elgin and over Sir Lowry's Pass with Table Mountain and the setting sun ahead of us.
