This unique race is run on an out and back course on gravel roads through the Eastern section of the De Hoop Nature Reserve, home of the Cape Vulture. The experience is enhanced by the beautiful Fynbos landscape and the chance to spot game.

Walkers are welcome and a six kilometre fun run will be held at the same time. 2012 will see the 17th running of the race.

There are plenty of hiking trails through the reserve should you want to spend the day exploring afterwards.
