A Festival-within-a-Festival, for 10 days we offer a program of timely and fascinating films which evolve organically from the programming process. A host of special events, tributes and symposia are in the works. While its perspective is clearly global, the festival is also a showcase and forum for the South African film industry.

The festival will again focus on the theme Reconciliation and Acceptance of “The Other”. The rich selection of outstanding features, documentaries and shorts include many films, which attempt to create a better understanding between human beings, to enhance respect for different ideological and religious viewpoint. The 2013 edition will see screenings at Nu Metro V&A Waterfront, Artscape, The Fugard Theatre and The Labia with select screenings at Oude Libertas Auitorium and Amphitheatre in Stellenbosch.
