Avoid the manic mall rush this year and kick off your festive season shopping spree at Drostdy Hof’s annual Christmas Fête and Country Day to be held at the historic De Oude Drostdy in scenic Tulbagh on Saturday, 29 November.

Enjoy a relaxing day in the country just an hour’s drive from Cape Town and join the locals and visiting revellers as they fill up their Christmas stockings with homemade goodies including everything from confectionery and biltong to kids’ toys and jewellery. Elna van Niekerk’s Art school will be exhibiting some of their work while a jumping castle will absorb the boundless energy of your kids and give you a chance to enjoy a relaxing glass of Drostdy-Hof under the umbrellas.

De Oude Drostdy is home to quality, palate friendly wines with a rich heritage - the perfect everyday summer sip while listening to the laid back sounds of Guy Feltman. You will be able to taste and buy Drostdy-Hof wines on the day.
