We are situated in the garden suburb of Walmer, less than 1 kilometer from the airport. Also close to restaurants, shops, beaches, business areas, golf courses and sport stadiums - which makes it the ideal location for both corporate and leisure travelers. AccommodationWe offer beautiful, spacious and comfortable en-suite rooms with private entrances and undercover patios. All our rooms are equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, fan / heater, TV and guest amenities. There is complimentary tea, coffee and rusks in the rooms. Snacks and refreshments are also available. Rooms are non-smoking, and secure off street parking is available for guests. Lion’s Den Can be used as a self-catering unit. It is equipped with crockery and cutlery for four people, pots, pans, and a two plate stove. It is furnished with twin beds / a king-size bed, and a sleeper couch. Extra mattresses can be placed in this spacious room to accommodate more people. The en-suite has a shower. Elephant Sanctuary Has a king-size bed / twin beds, and an en-suite with a bath and shower. Giraffe’s Haven Is a larger room with twin beds / a king-size bed, plus a single bed. This room also has a full bathroom en-suite. Rhino’s Retreat Is perfect for a single person or a couple, with a king-size bed / twin beds and a wonderful en-suite with bath and shower. Zebra’s Zone Has twin beds / a king-size bed, is also equipped for self-catering, and has a bathroom with a shower. Breakfast & DiningWe serve a continental breakfast to the room, between 07h00 and 09h30 in the mornings. Home-cooked evening meals are available by prior arrangement and we can also make dinner reservations by request. Lunch packs can be provided by prior arrangement, and braai facilities are available. DIRECTIONS: From Port Elizabeth Airport As you exit the airport, turn left into Alister Miller Drive which becomes 3rd Avenue, cross over the railway line, and then turn left into Albert Road (2nd street). Continue straight and we are Number 71. From N2 / M4 From the N2, take M4 Settler's Way towards the City / Summerstrand / Beach / Walmer. The freeway ends at a big intersection with a set of traffic lights. Turn right into Walmer Boulevard at this intersection. Follow Walmer Boulevard for about 3km (you will pass the fire station on your left and then a Kwik Spar on the right). Turn left into Third Avenue at the traffic lights.
