DESCRIPTION:

Sebumo Tude Nature's Lounge and Kasouga Valley Bush Camp are clearly off the beaten track but close to the beautiful beaches of Kenton-on-Sea and Port Alfred. Our 480 ha wilderness paradise is a highlight for nature lovers and a connoisseur's treat.

Sebumo Tude Nature's Lounge is a small exclusive Lodge for up to ten people. Kasouga Valley Bush Camp can accommodate a maximum of six people. Both our Lodge and our Bush Camp are perfect places to unwind, relax and reflect. Here you can take your time, sleep deeply and restore your senses. A night spent sleeping out in these superb surroundings is invigorating and relaxing.

On warily developed hiking trails you can discover the indigenous South African flora and fauna. The vast bushveld panorama with the Indian Ocean on the horizon is something very special. View on own or guided tours Bushbucks, Nyalas, Jackals, colourful Knysna Louries or the very rare Narina Trogon. East Cape Cycades, wild Date Palms, wild Fig and Olive trees, old Sneezewood and Yellowwood trees, Strelizia and wild Orchids - only a few to mention what our paradise wilderness is made of.

Accommodation

All our rooms and tents have been stylishly decorated with contemporary African accents, every room has its own atmosphere and charme. The colours of the bushveld, the earthy tones of sand and stones, the burned orange of Aloes and Coral trees is our scheme for the interior design.

There is no television in Nature’s Lounge and in the Bush Camp, we feel it would distract one from the beautiful surrounds and active bush life. There are however, a good collection of books and magazines available. Sebumo Tude offers untouched bushveld, exceptional ambience and German hospitality creating an unforgettable experience.

Dining

After a relaxed day in the bush or at the beautiful beaches, our chef will spoil you with specialities, always with a taste of Africa. Enjoy al fresco dining at roaring fires or Fine Country Cuisine in our Nature's Lounge Restaurant. The menu also boasts local venison such as Kudu and Springbok, and for a lighter palate, fresh line fish and seafood, caught daily in the waters off the Port Alfred coast. Cooking is our passion and it brings us great joy to present only home made dishes, prepared with the freshest produce of the highest quality.

We are also a member of the Slow Food Movement and got a Chefs Hat in the Portfolio Collection. A bottle of a fantastic South African wine served in exquisite Riedel Glasses should be enjoyed with your menu. Listen to Jazz or Classic with our Bang & Olufsen sound system at the fireplace or the amazing sound of the bush under the African stars. Lean back and look forward to another perfect day.
