Mentorskraal Guest Farm is an idyllic retreat, offering a range of accommodation - backpackers, self catering and bed & breakfast - just 3km from the Main Beach in Jeffrey's Bay. Sea views, rich birdlife and farm animals.

ACCOMMODATION:

Mentorskraal Guest House:
7 en-suite rooms in true African Décor leading to lounge. Unique stone building with views over the farm unto the sea. Experience beautiful sunsets and abundance of farm animals.

Mentorskraal Annex:
8 spacious en-suite private rooms leading onto the patio overlooking the farm onto the sea. 3 Rooms accommodating 3 guests each, decorated in farm animal themes i.e. Guinea-Fowl, Cow, Duck, Ostrich, Pig, Turkey, Fowl and Peacock. Each room is equipped with a TV set, coffee/tea facilities and a fridge.

Mentorskraal Africa Apartment:
2 bedroom self-catering flat-let accommodating maximum 6 guests (4 adults & 2 Children). Consisting of a private entrance with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, open-plan kitchen and dining room area. The unit is spacious with a sea view.

Mentorskraal Aloe Apartment:
Bachelor's self-catering bachelors flat accommodating maximum 4 guests (2 adults & 2 children) with a bathroom and undercover braai area. Private entrance with beautiful views.

Mentorskraal Brahman Apartment:
Self Catering flat accommodating 7 guests (4 adults & 3 children), consisting of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, undercover braai area, private entrance with beautiful views.

Mentorskraal Self Catering Units:
9 spacious en-suite private units each accommodating 4 adults & 2 children, overlooking the farm and the sea. Rooms decorated in floral themes i.e. Laventel, Roos, Sonneblom, Madeliefie, Lelie, Kanna, Malva, Strelitzia and Protea. Consisting of 2 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds, 2 bathrooms, openplan lounge/kitchen with M-net, undercover braai, sleep additional 2 in lounge area.

Mentorskraal Backpackers:
Our communal backpacker with modern ablution and undercover braai area offers clean, warm over night and group facility.

Weddings

One stop wedding co-ordinated by Githe Muir in our unique chapel (120 Guests) with fully equipped kitchen and food prepared by our qualified chef Inge Woeke with bar facilities and 4 different venues to choose from for the reception accommodationg from 70 to 1000 guests.

Conference Venues

A unique facility which has been specially designed to cater for conferences, functions and weddings and the only one of its size on the coast between Plettenberg Bay and Port Alfred. Mentors Conference Venue is situated on a prime spot 3 km north of Jeffreys Bay in a friendly, safe and secure environment. The rural atmosphere, rustic buildings and abundance of open space will contribute towards a memorable visit to Mentors Venue. Mentorskraal offers a variety of different sized venues seating from 40 to 2000 guests in various seating configurations.

Animals on view at Mentorskraal Guest Farm include:

Cattle, mountain goats, pigs, ostriches, geese, ducks, muscovites, fowls, guinea fowls, many bird species, etc.

Activities offered in the area:

Skydiving, horseriding, birdwathing, black water tubing, bungy jumping, Addo Elephant park, Shamwari Game Reserve, Deepsea fishing, River Boat fishing, sand boarding, surfing, windsurfing and many excellent golf courses and hiking trails.
