DESCRIPTION:

Located in the upmarket suburb of Bluewater Bay, Coega Harbour View is a three star graded guest house with bed and breakfast accommodation and is in walking distance of Bluewater Bay beach. You will receive the personal attention of the owners and hosts, Phillip, Mynie and Anel. We have been advised by our guests that they arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. “Our home is your home”.

Bluewater Bay area provides magnificent sunsets, water skiing, bait collection, sailing, angling & swimming, with boats launched at slipways in the Swartkops area. Our location is ideal for both traveller and businessman.

We have four tastefully and comfortably decorated rooms.

Facilities


There are two comfortable living areas to relax in or unwind, listen to music, watch television, play pool or darts or just sit in front of the fire in our large in-house barbecue area. Alternatively you can sit outside on the balcony, which also has barbecue facilities and where you will be able to view schools of dolphins and whales during certain seasons. For the hot summer months you can relax in the secluded splash pool or go for a walk on the beach.

You are able to view ski boats and ships entering and leaving the Coega Harbour and on a clear day you can see the St Croix Island.

Breakfast and Dining


A sumptuous breakfast is served daily in our welcoming dining-room, just off from our
farmhouse size kitchen. We are accommodating in serving our guests breakfast who want to leave before six in the morning. We also offer lunch packets for those guests who work on contracts and have no access to shops and canteen facilities.

Within 2 to 3 minutes drive you will find a restaurant, as well as takeaway places, including Fish-aways, Steers and Debonairs. There is also Bluewater Bay Superspar for the purchase of any daily needs.

Attractions and Activities


Activities and around Port Elizabeth
20km from Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment World on the beachfront offers a variety of entertainment from playing the machines or tables, or having a game of ten pin bowls or watching a movie. There are many restaurants and coffee shops in the complex. Spend a day shopping at the shopping malls in Greenacres, Moffett on Main, Walmer park or 6th Avenue shopping centre.

The Bayworld Oceanarium, is a popular family attraction and offers daily dolphin and seal shows. We are only 75km from Jeffeysbay, our surfboard Mecca and Billabong factory shops.

Visit the world renowned Addo Elephant Park or go on an Elephant Back Safari. Other game viewing opportunities can be found at various private reserves such as Shamwari, Kariega, Schotia, Lalibela, all within 90 minutes of Port Elizabeth. Or visit the smaller game reserves such as Seaview and Kragga Kamma or take the children to Homeleigh farm for an interactive experience with farmyard animals. Closer to us at Swartkops Nature Reserve you can view beautiful Flamingo’s.

Deep Sea charters available in Algoa Bay or spend a morning Scuba Diving and explore the regions underwater wonders. Book a game of golf and the Port Elizabeth of Humewood Golf Clubs. Arts, crafts and curios at any of the curio shops around town or the African Curio market on the beachfront or visit the Art Museums or many art galleries in Port Elizabeth. Why not simply spend a lazy day surfing, swimming or sun baking at one of Port Elizabeth’s many beautiful beaches.

Airport
The airport is 20 minutes drive from Bluewater Bay and transfers can be arranged.

We have three main hospitals, Greenacres Netcare Hospital, St Georges and Mercantile Hospital which are both life Group hospitals.

DIRECTIONS:

From Port Elizabeth Airport
On leaving the PE airport, turn right and continue along Alistair Miller Drive until you see the signs for the N2. Once on the N2 follow the signs towards Grahamstown. Once you have driven over the Swartkops River Bridge take the Bluewater Bay off ramp and turn right into Weinronk Way. Just before the beach turn left into Bluewater Drive. Stop at 93.

From Cape Town
On approaching PE on the N2, continue on the N2 and follow the signs towards Grahamstown. Once you have driven over the Swartkops River Bridge take the Bluewater Bay off ramp and turn Right into Weinronk Way. Just before the beach turn left into Bluewater Drive. Stop at 93.

From the direction of Grahamstown
On approaching PE take the Bluewater Bay off ramp before the Swartkops River Bridge. Turn left into Weinronk Way. Just before the beach turn left into Bluewater Drive. Stop at 93.
